My ratings are basically:
1 = disgrace to anime
2 = disgrace to anime but with about 1 aspect that I liked
3 = very bad/garbage/poor excuse for a show
4 = almost average but worse
5 = it's just kinda there, nothing special about it
6 = it's alright but a little worse than a 7
7 = it's good but not amazing
8 = amazing but didn't grab me enough for 9
9 = the best but with a little more flaws than a 10
10 = the best and extremely enjoyable to watch
1-4 is awful garbage
5 is eh - wouldn’t recommend to anyone
6-7 is alright
8-10 is typically the best
I change my mind on how good an anime is occasionally so the ratings I give might not be what I should give it, but they're accurate for the most part.
My episode count might be off for 1 reason:
I watched random episodes of Pokemon as a kid so I never counted them. I put 100 episodes but it could be more or less.
My chapter count is way off so just ignore that, but my Completed section is accurate.
My ratings are based on the enjoyability, the watchability (how long I can watch without getting bored), the characters, the rewatchability, the originality, the music (very important), and the overall mood of everything. For comedy anime I base my ratings on how funny and enjoyable they are.
The "Dropped" anime on my list with 0 episodes watched means I'm never gonna watch it.
In my "Favorites" section I only listed the first season (for shows with multiple seasons) but I love the whole series. The only exception is Clannad After Story, I love it too much to put it with Clannad.
NOTE: I do not watch Toriko. Any episode on that is toward my One Piece rewatch.
