I bet it gets hate for the simple fact of being an Urobuchi written show, just like Psycho-Pass and Fate/Zero. Speaking of Fate/, Fate/Stay Night 2006 anime is overrated as hell. I can't wait for Ufotable's UBW which will most likely erase most of my memories of the 2006 abomination of an anime. |

I liked Samumenco for what its worth and how it executed everything. The pacing is yuck and characters were average but it was a fun experience and I found it empowering at times (the themes that were there). That and as you said it has some really good fights and mecha in general which carry its sorry ass. It still definitely features some of the worst characters/character moments ever packed into 90 minutes of a Gundam. But hey Char on a horse... |

| I don't know where all the hate for Urobuchi is coming from, but all of his works I have seen ( Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass, Fate/Zero ) are just amazing. And Madoka Magica only takes like 2 episodes to get into and since all the ''it gets really dark'' talk really kept me interested. I really don't know why people don't like it. I mean considering it is a magical girl anime it is damn good. |

| I like Madoka to a certain extent, but I like other shows from the same genre even more like NGE or Mawaru Penguindrum which does the dark/mindfuck/psychological even better imho.
