To say that I hate on them, would mean that I joined the hatefag bandwagon without any thought. I don't hate on bronies, but I don't particularly like them either. So my opinion on them is probably neutral.

I don't dislike bronies on a whole, and I'm not bothered in the slightest by the fact that they like the show, but if you're a brony and you 'ponify' everything in your life then fuck you that's silly. Just don't shove ponies down my throat please.

They went and made jerking it to ponies weird. Ruined one of my favorite pass times.

Seems like fun
I lol'd, and then felt shame, at everything. It's like a bunch of guys came together and said "let's try and have fun" but made a fucking mess of it.

I'm over MLP now, but I can't say it wasn't fun. Incidentally, my interest died at Equestria Girls. @_@

I picked a fight with a group of them on here in 2011 over their little 'fighting game'.

Not even tryin to troll. Why would any man above the age of 11 watch my little pony. First of all even if you can forget all about the pony rainbow fairy shit, its a kids show. So even if you were a girl, you still probably shouldnt watch it. Men who watch this show do it more for some kind of attention and just to say they watch than them actually enjoyin the show. Some whack attention seeking shit imo

I'm more neutral. I mean, they're not hurting anyone. I was once part of the MLP community myself but I sort of grew out of it but I still have some merch that I like to keep around. It's more or less a guilty pleasure to keep around because it's still part of who I am. Even though, I stopped watching the series that won't stop me from buying any Pinkie Pie merch! I regret nothing!!!!

People like what they want to like and watch what they want to watch. It's the same as watching anime, people aren't obligated to watch what everyone is watching. Everyone has their own opinion and I don't think being against Bronies should even be something to debate against because even older women are into MLP as well, not just children and men. :3

I'm for it. Why can't people be open about loving a kids show when I'm open about loving Magical Girl Shows (I'm this 6'1" tall man built like a bear with a beard, I own a Madoka Magicka shirt with Kyubey on it, and it's currently one of my favorite shirts.)

People have the same issue that some of the people on this thread have with my little pony, with anime. Where as there are adult anime, there is still a certain appeal that some people don't get about it.

I'm actually quite fond of MLP:FiM and I plan on going to a convention for it with the MLP club at my college. They're a fun group of folks.

I'll agree that fans of the show were for a time too noticeable and vocal, but I think that's died down. In any case, nothing wrong with enjoying this stuff.

You see, bronies are like marmite. You either love 'em or you hate 'em. Little horsey poney loving, bestiality participating, weed smoking little bastards. You'd be surprised, they usually have a good sense of humor.
You have a bad sense of humor then because I've never laughed at a single joke from those pony masturbating fucks

To each their own I suppose. I don't really see the problem with people watching whatever as long as it isn't one of those educational preschooler shows, and even then it depends. In the end its just entertainment, right?

Neutral, my boyfriend likes ponies and I'm like 'meh, sure'. Even watched that sequel movie with him (though he hated it after all).

I can relate to their obsession, as I have gotten obsessed with things in the past (like WoW, for example) and I can relate to their love of cuteness, because, well, who doesn't like cuteness? But I'm not a fan of them... well... emulating it. It's a little creepy. Kind of like those LARP guys. Not something grown ass men should be doing in public, unless they're supervising an event for children or something.

But its people actually genuinely just having fun. No strict set up rules, no one faking fun...Its all genuine and real. Most people aren't all that talented and just do what they can and that's perfectly all right. That video shows that. A bunch of people trying their hardest to have a good time, not caring at all about anything in the world. Its admirable really.

LARPing seems like it'd be fun too though. It looks geeky and lame, but actually doing it? Getting into the role playing atmosphere? Seems like it'd be amazing.

EDIT: For a time you get to be the hero of your own story or a knight fighting for a kingdom currently under siege...You get to wield a blade and strike down your foes and feel like a master swordsman. Enemy upon enemy fall by your blade and you feel the power go through you as you know that you are successfully winning the battle, that you are in control....And if you aren't that good or powerful, you can still be happy you participated and had a chance at that. LARPing seems like it'd be a blast to participate in, even if it looks stupid.

I was a hardcore WoW player from release until the last expansion, but I would never dress up like a Night Elf Rogue and make out with a Jaina plushtoy. I agree with you that everyone loves cuteness (or is lying) and that many people have some kind of obsession (sports count, too) but that shit makes me uncomfortable.

Probably because I've felt like every single brony I have ever met was "that creepy guy that is going to end up on a sexual predator list."

Yeah. It is. I used to do it all the time. As a kid. And it wasn't called LARP. It was called playing outside with your friends, and using your imagination because all your parents are too poor to afford toys or games for you guys.

I suppose if they never got to experience that as children, it might explain why they feel the need to do so now...

[steps out of the closet] Hi. I'm 19 and I'm dating a 25 year old woman and I would never dream of touching a young child. I get along with children because I show them a mutual respect and I enjoy a few of the same shows as them (MLP and Adventure time). You know who got me into the show? My 15 year old brother who started watching at the age of 12. It's nice to be able to spend time with your siblings watching something you both enjoy.

And how about the voice cast that shares a lot of voice actresses with Black Lagoon. Food for thought right there.

Though aren't a majority of hardcore WoW players obese men sitting at a computer.
