| I don't think either of them are "annoying" although I don't think either of them are very good. Then again you're comparing someone who's had a full 2 cour season to someone who's had 3/4's of 1 cour. If you want to talk about who's more developed by this point in SAO Kirito had much more of a clear definition than we have for Inaho. Really though this kind of thread is just a dinner bell for haters and fanboys alike haha...why make things like these. |
| Inaho is not annoying, a character that basically displays no emotion whatsover cant be annoying, if anything he can be boring, dull or not interesting, but certainly not annoying. The character in this show that is actually annoying is Slaine with his obsession for Hime-sama. Edit: And by the way I voted for Kirito because he is spouting totally cheesy and cringe-worthy lines the whole time. Thats the very definition of annoying. |

| Neither. Inaho is emotionless and will only become annoying if they do not justify it. Kirito never was annoying beyond the anime-only-hate-crowd and S2 of SAO so far does a far better job at showcasing his charcter growth. Slaine is annoying though. Tunnel-vision mindset, no logic ground behind the actions he takes, always shouting. IF this was well written show he would be well on the way towards being a villain. As it stands, he now is pretty much Gundam Seed Destiny's Shin. Meh. |

| Neither Kirito just didn't have good character development in SAO 1 he was like Jesus but they been doing better with it in the second season and Ihano just doesn't show emotion. |

| for those who say inaho is boring, dull and emotionless and thus a bad character... i disagree. I find it refreshing seeing a character like him (who has obviously some kind of emotionless mental condition with very high knowledge, AKA being very autistic) in contrary to the EMO 14 year old kid, who make things far harder than they are. so with this.. i would say Kirito to be more annoying :p |

| Kirito... by far. Also I actually like Inaho so far. In this day and age where the over emotional to point that you could call it "whiney" protagonist is as generic as it can get in these types of animes, I'd rather have a emotionless, rational character like Inaho as protagonist instead of another Kirito. So far I see Inaho more as a anti-hero kind of guy (strange that people normally like that type of side character more in other animes but in this one they dislike him as main character), that's why I also like him a bit and don't see him as "dull and boring". |

| When it comes to writing a character... Inaho just takes a big shit on every single aspect of what makes a good character. I don't understand how lazy writing = refreshing but okay. It's frustrating seeing such poor characters in this show, but It obviously isn't trying for a complex plot, or developed characters... It's trying to give the audience an instantly gratifying, fun anime, that that can be enjoyed without much thought. That and sell Merchandise of course. And it works. |

| Kirito is one fine looking trap so he wins this round. The biggest problem with Inaho is that he was written to be so much smarter than everyone else. If he gets a good punch in the mouth and looks lost for words for a moment, he'll be all right. |
