Ohioans (And to a greater extent, THE FGC) like to use the term "Salty" for anytime a person gets frustrated or angry.

We use that in Virginia too! It started out as northern Virginia slang, but it's pretty widespread now, especially in places like Chesapeake.

I grew up in Virginia Beach and there, people say "weak" to describe something that's funny. Strangely, even in other places in Virginia that aren't too far away (such as Williamsburg or Richmond), people don't use the term at all.

Ex. "That joke had me weak, bro."

here's the urban dictionary thing for it.

I've heard that used down here (South Louisiana) too, but not enough to consider it part of our vocabulary. Interesting.

That's interesting, I've never heard anyone else use it! If you don't mind me asking, is there a military base near you? Because the Virginia Beach area has a lot of navy bases and stuff so that could be how it spread. Or it could've just organically popped up in two different places.

As Bohnenbrot says, "Alaaf". You scream it towards people you want candy from.
If life ain't just a joke
Then why are we laughing?

Then why am I dead?

Every local slang in my place lol. Even people who have been living in my place for many years still don't understand it, because only the natives use it and understand it very well.

Yep, there're some differencies between the way people speak in Moscow and Saint Pete in Russia. There're tons of jokes about it. Also it turns out that there're some words unique to Siberia.

It's kinda old, but in Denmark when something is cool people would say "That is totally knee heigh cress!"

Also, we often use the word "hygge" for basically anything nice or cosy.

so my regional german accent:

I say "ne" instead of "ihn". Example : "Ich mag 'ne" instead of "Ich mag ihn"

In Russian I pretty much confuse G with H, it's a Ukrainian thing :D

Pretentious, little, "gangster" kids (even those my age) say stuff like "fam", "blud", "peng" and I can't be bothered to explain what they mean.
