I am curious. which headphones models do you use to play games, watch anime and listen to music?

Mod edit
Please discuss the reason for picking a certain model or brand and describe what you think of it.

I've used the Sennheiser HD558 for a couple of years now. Sennheiser is radical.

I usually just use a pair of Bose IE2 ear buds. But I sometimes use a pair of V-Moda Crossfade LP2s (over ear cans).

Had to replace that brand 7 times in less than a year. Learned my lesson and went with sennheiser. Love them. Well worth the money.

@Endycia: To this day I regret going V-Moda instead of Sennheiser. The V-Moda ones are good, and are built like a tank, but the difference in sound quality compared to my Bose ear buds is nowhere near as noticable as it should be, given the cans were more than twice the price.

I use the Func HS-260 ones. They sound great for the price range and I'm glad I switched over from the Razer Krakken. It's more comfortable and I feel like I have more freedom with it.

Yeah, they're not made to be very tough.

I've had mine a good three months with no damage so far.

Solo Beats by Dre white version.

They are suprisingly good, even though I know there are better quality ones out there. They've lasted for over 2 years now.

Although I'm not using them right now, the detachable audio cable started fraying near the insert port thing under the headphone, because it was irresponsible with twisting it too much. Now I'm using a basic set of white earphones, cant tell what brand they are.

The only problem I have with the beats is that the sound leaks out of it really badly. Like if your trying to listen to music and be quiet while doing so, if there's someone else in the room with you they'll hear what your listening too if you turn it up a decent bit. It's even worse in my house since we have all wood floors, I'm in the only room upstairs but if I blast music/whatever on full blast or close to that, you can hear it faintly in stairway and near the bottom of steps (I started using a somewhat loud portable fan to drown out any sound leakage from them a few months ago when the weather actually got warm enough to do that).

Strangely enough these basic white earphones I'm using have much less sound leakage. The sound quality isn't as good as the beats, but I can practically turn something up on full volume, and then not be able to hear anything coming out of the headphones if I'm more than 2 feet away which is cool.

To be honest I payed quite a lot for my sennheiser but they're so comfortable, to be honest from all the headphones that I've owned these sennheiser ones are probably the ones whom I got used to rather quickly and my hears don't hurt from it. I always ahd that problem, steelseries took me a few days to get used to them because after a long session of having them on my head my ears would hurt a lot. Funny enough both razer and sennheiser so far were the ones which I didn't get pain in my ears.

My longest one did last around 3 to 4 months. Their left side just suddenly stopped working, and even funnier part is that that happened when I was watching anime. the 7 times LOL. Anime curse!!

For gaming I use turtle beaches. Although, if you're a try-hard like myself. Astros are the way to do it. Had a sicknasty pair of A-40s but my dog got a hold of em. That's way to pricey for me to buy again. The first pair was a gift. So decided to settle on the beaches.

Gives you such an advantage in just about every genre of game. Even fighting games surprisingly enough. You hear certain characters say some shit before they attack you, that triggers your muscle memory to react. Sometimes even faster than you would react to seeing the move coming. It's very nice. Not to mention FPSs.

In public I use Sony earbuds. The sound isn't the best, but for $10 it's okay. I wish I could hear the bass, it's like I'm missing an entire layer of the song.
And at home I use another Sony product.

The sound is good, at least I can hear every instrument. Overhead head-phones just look ridiculous on me in public, so that's why I have two pairs.

I used to have Apple earbuds, but they broke. I have to get new earbuds about once every two months.
