| Sure they can. In Shinsekai Yori for example there was a tiny little bit of yaoi which I didn't really mind in that particular series, but that of course doesn't mean that I'd watch something like Boku no Pico and enjoy it :P |

| I think now days Shoujo Ai and Shounen Ai are mixed into what has become a blanketed term of Yuri and Yaoi. There really is a difference. Straight female and I love Shounen Ai and can enjoy Yaoi , usually if I just want to turn off my brain that wants to look for a story in it. As to the topic I have watched Shoujo Ai that I have enjoyed. I am a sucker for romance and enjoy it where I can find it. Yuri on the other hand, while it doesn't bother me I really just can't get into it, I've tried but it just doesn't speak to me. That doesn't mean though that there isn't one out there that I wouldn't enjoy, if I could find it. |
| Well, it is perfectly normal for straight men to watch yuri and sure it's fine to watch yaoi to experience something new. Watching it regularly would make me question my sexuality but if you genuinely like the story then sure, why not? |
