| This kind of reminded me the scene when Gaara woke up in that field and the whole village came around him and he was shocked by the love they had for him. Touchy episode and all after the big win and Naruto getting closer to his dreams. Let's hope that after the filler episode about Iruka there won't be a full filler arc and they will continue with the plot. In general this arc would have been better if there wasn't so much stalling at the first episode when Pain invaded and if that Loony toons episode wasn't there. |

| Nice recollection of flashbacks plus the background music made it even more special, too bad the anime is so filler heavy and not as fluid. And why fillers now, the manga has a decent lead, enough for them to at least get to their next location (no spoilers). |

I feel like Naruto Shippuuden is coming to an end soon..This could already be the last episode or something :O So I'm curious what's coming up next! I was hoping for some HinataxNaruto, but didn't get it :( I also missed Gaara in this episode, he hasn't been seen for quite some time, and he could be there you know, together with all the cheering people :( |

I hope Naruto will acknowledge Hinata's feelings and love her back .. and forget about Sakura .. I don't hate Sakura .. she just gets to my nerves and I want to slap her sometimes and say back off bitch .. Naruto is for the cute and sweet Hinata ^^ AAAAAAh DANZOU U bastard I wish Tsunade will kill U with her bare hands and wipe the floor with U >0 I don't want anyone else to kill Danzou but Tsunade or Sai .. now that will be even better .. but I think that ass Sasuke is the one who's going to kill him along with those annoying elders .. | The ending scenes of this episode just goes to show how Naruto ultimately fails to be a truly great anime. All the great arcs were from the first series which were basically irrelevant to the overall story if you think about it (Zabuza, Chuunin exam, fighting Gaara, getting Tsunade etc.) As soon as it came to the actual story with the Akatsuki and Pain most people lost some sort of interest in Naruto and the writing definitely declined. I guess I'll judge it properly when it ends. |

| Hey great! Now everyone is alive again... really, that is just... aaaaaaaa! ...here I am trying to rationalize with Naruto!!! Sigh! ...but still, mass resuscitation?! Really?! One thing is over-the-top antics in a shounen, the other is lazy story telling, and while I came to appreciate the first with time the second is inexcusable. I stopped caring for Bleach (I still watch it mind you, even If I fast-forward most of the episodes) when Tite Kubo went this way (with people flying at their leisure and all that crap) and saddens me to think Naruto might go the same way :( That aside, no one will ever "make a move" on Naruto, they will just milk the fun/dramatic factor the situation allows all they can with the usual pre-made scenarios and when the show is about to end they will kiss and live haply ever after ¬¬ ...or maybe they just resurrect all the bad guys and go at them again for Naruto Shippuden 2. |

| Ok, not a bad conclusion for the arc, even if a good villain didn't have a more deserving death. The flashbacks, although unnecessary, gave me a nostalgia feeling, some good times those. I guess this is it for me, Shippuuden ends here, the story has been dragging too much. I'm glad I finished this arc though, it had some good moments (especially Nagato's background). I'd rather end it with a good note now than have to drag my ass through future episodes needlessly. I'll keep in touch with the manga. Studio Pierrot... you could've made Shippuuden so much better. |

| For a recap episode this was very very well done (the gradual tide change of sentiment, the new PoV on old stories, etc). Sakura's relationship with Naruto won't ever be a romantic one, but they are precious to each other in very meaningful ways. Hinata's still got a shot, but lord, that couple would need help. |

| Having a highlight like this makes me glad I stuck with this. Filler aside, the writing for the main arcs is pretty damn good imo. Drug out and takes forever sometimes, but the payoff has been well worth the investment. |

| Really lovely episode. :) There were flashbacks, yes... but they were incorporated nicely and totally in good taste. They helped to show the huge progress Naruto has made - in the eyes of the villagers and just in general... So happy that everyone came back to life. DX The only gripe I have with this episode is when Sakura went to hug Naruto instead of Hinata... Hopefully it was just a friendly, team-member-to-team-member-type hug. <_<' Since Hinata wasn't worried about it, maybe she could tell that was what it was... |

| wow. i have to say, i am fairly impressed with this ep, it is definitely my favorite so far. overall this arc has just been great. the action picked up a little, still somewhat slow, but i enjoyed most of it. and the plot development was just amazing, i am surprised at how much depth they put into everything. nicely done! |
| This episode was just so god damn surprisin gto me when i watched it and im glad i never knew the manga at this point like some others. Kishimoto just seriously trolled all of us LOL I loved Nagito's speech at the end, it held such significant meaning for things to come. and naruto is finally praised as a hero of the hidden leaf. Its been along time coming but finally naruto is recognized as a true legend amongst his peers. Something that he is not used to and never has been because of his sad childhood being called a monster. So it comes as a real shock to him. The music and the production in this episode was just absolutely great to |

| I really love this episode. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch it. It's my first time watching the whole series, but years ago I've seen the fight with Pain and this wrap up on youtube and rewatched the episode before I started with Shippuuden. I've finally arrived at this point it was still really touching. A great episode..! |

| So, Nagato revived everyone. I expected Kakashi to come back but I am not sure how I feel about everyone coming back. I firmly believe that, if a character dies, they should stay dead. I still feel the same after this episode, it just lessened the impact of the arc. And, again, the way Nagato was convinced just rubbed me the wrong way. Still, once Naruto ran into Kakashi the episode picked up for me. It felt good to see Sakura hug him and the people celebrate his victory. Though the whole throwing him in the air part was a bit much for me. |

Yeah throwing him up in the air may of been a bit over the top but i think kishimoto got that from akiray toyiama, goku was throughn up in the air when he won that tournament in Dragonball Yeah did you really think Kakashi was out for the count. I under stand your whole belief if characters dying should stay dead, but ask your self, would you really feel content if kakashi was actually dead lol. As you said before, their is ALOT of untapped potential, and more then you can think, he is a main character after all and he plays an enormous role in the core story. Well now you know why Minato is on Storm 2 game. Now you just have to beat the game to see the differences, and let me know when your up for another match :p Well you finally finshed this arc. Now the next arc is known as one of the worst fillers in shippuuden among lots of fans but its also one of the more complicated arcs to watch, some of the episodes our like 3/4 canon well others our 1/4 canon, either way skipping the entire next filler arc, you will miss out on very important plot details. This is the one arc in the series that really mixed canon with filler the most. Its around the first several episodes though, after that you can actually skip the rest if you so please. But ill give you a short little guide that you can follow if you want to watch just the canon material, other wise your free to watch the whole filler if you want. I actually didn't watch it cause this the point where i stopped watching the series, though i have heard lots about the famous ostrich episode lol, so i just had to check that out. Anyways most of the canon material here focuses on the group hebi, inari visiting with naruto during the construction of konoho and also the appointed next hokage. It is quite easy to tell which is filler and which isn't. Episodes 176, 178-181, 182-196 full filler. > Start of hokage summit arc. |

| Next Hokage? Tsunade never even died in the battle, though. Personally, I would have rathered JUST Kakashi coming back. Instead of outright stating he was dead they should have just hinted at it, only to reveal he didn't. Now, that is still pretty bad imo, but it's significantly more understandable than the entire village being wished back to life. At least Kakashi is essential to the story, aside from Shizune every other ninja that died was an unknown. I don't know, it all just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think another thing is that Pain was a pretty compelling character to me up until these last few episodes, so trading him for a bunch of no names annoys me. He would have made a great recurring villain imo. Then again I don't really know where the rest of the series will go so what the hell am I arguing for? |

| I like Hinata lately, but I want Naruto to get Sakura in the end. Mostly because of Jiraya's death. I want Naruto to succeed in everything that Jiraya couldn't... It's almost like Jiraya's life won't be so sad and full of defeat anymore if his student achieves all of his dreams. |

| What an incredible way to end the arc. I was kind of worried that the flashbacks would be executed poorly, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The best arc in Shippuuden so far hands down. |

| So it took just a few words to change Nagatos whole ideology? He couldn't figure that out himself? Also can he do this reviving thing only once? He could have arrived his buddy back ( I suppose he didnt know that technique back then, but still...it only counts for fresh corpses? lol) My reasons for watching Naruto vanished xD I mean the whole series was about the Akatsuki and Sasuke wanting to kill Itachi...and Naruto following Sasuke (let it go already!) ....I feel so empty now. |

| Great episode.:) They finally saw him as Naruto, and not as Demon kid. This Sakura got me mad. She was doing nothing whole battle just standing and screaming at Hyuga guy `Whats happening?` `What are they doing now?` `What just happened?` And Hinata almost died trying to protect Naruto.. And then when everything is over Sakura is coming to punch and hug Naruto.. God this is so unfair. |
