^ Lol that was awesome Aku no Hana plus disco ftw. Amazing episode, best of the series so far. Can't wait to see everyone's reaction.

chilling. After this episode, I know why they chose to rotoscope … amazingly done. I've never seen anything executed like that. The emotion was captured in such a way that neither film, nor a regular animation could accomplish. Can not wait for the next episode

Kasuga has done a thing I was the most afraid of in this series. He became mad completely like Nakamura O.O
He was so desperate... I still can't understand his choice!
The final scene was epic and terryfying at the same time.

Oh yeah, Kasuga is letting that flower bloom alright. And letting himself join the roots of evil that Saeki mentions in the new OP.

I'd kill for another season. Too bad BD/DVD sales will probably suck, cuz' AnH is different from every generic moe anime we find on the market.

Liar, liar...

At last it's starting to go places. Though I still fear there may be not enough time to reach the best(?) (worst?) parts yet. This is only the first of those moments. Also, I don't know how they'll handle the live-action filming-rotoscoping of that one notorious scene - if this ever goes that far, anyway.

Oh, and new OP. Nanako ver.

Superb ending, the music really added to the atmosphere, I had goosebumps, and the slow motion was just right. Honestly, this changed my whole opinion of the series.

Wow. You gotta respect the cinematography. The ending was absolutely, horrifically beautiful.

Yes. The final scene of this episode was absolutely, visually dynamic and probably could not have been done without the effect of the rotoscoping. Here's hoping the story picks up after this since it seems like it will.

For several episodes I've been screaming at the screen; "YOU F**KING PANSY".
Its futile, the protagonist is so incredibly annoyingly wimpy. It's almost as if he likes being dominated and tormented.

I really liked the music that played at the start of the midnight scene. And how that scene ended up was masterful, I really enjoyed it. Kasuga finally realised that he'd been running from the exact thing he'd been looking for before he met Nakamura... I must read the manga after the anime is done!

What an awesome time to get into this Anime, luckily episode 8 was out the next day after this amazing ending.

I loved it, this anime is really great.

I don't know why people complain about the art-style, it is brilliant, what originally drew me to the anime.

Yeah really. I don't see any problems with the art style. It's pretty sweet, and very realistic.

Also, Saeki's mom is HAWT

Man this is as psychological as it gets.

I don't really know what Saeki meant when she said she was weak. She was very rational when she suspected Kasuga of cheating, and is nice to others when no one else steps up to do so.

Kasuga on the other hand is weak. I hate how he is so easily influenced by Nakamura's guilt tripping and manipulations. He wasn't a deviant at the beginning, he was just a naive, weak high school boy who didn't know how to cope with his emotions and sexual desires.
But after all this time of Nakamura messing with his gullible head, he started to believe it and therefore became it.
I don't understand why he is is not reflecting on Nakamura's actions and going: are you kidding me? Take a look in the mirror before you call me a deviant.

Nakamura is clearly not alright in the head, and is using him to take out all that poisonous and bitter anger she has bottled up inside of her.

I really wish an adult would enter this situation. Kasuga clearly cannot handle himself so he needs someone of more strength and wisdom to set him back on the right track. To tell him that it is okay to have sexual feelings, and that he should take his power back and not let people like Nakamura push him into things he doesn't want to do. And then that adult could show him the support he needs to apologize to Saeki and make things right.

Last five or so minutes of the episode were awesome in terms of animation, story, and music. The new version of the ending is creepier than the normal one.

Agree. This is getting out of their hands. Nakamura has already pushed him to the limits of his mind. Kasuga clearly can't fight back and is taking worse decisions every time because of anxiety/fear.

Nakamura is using Kasuga in such a horrible way, but it's fun to watch in anime. Oh, how I would have loved to write out how I feel about every one of the people in my class back in public middle school and vandalize the classroom in such a way. It's so freeing to get every little bit out and destroy something you despise. It's completely impossible to do that in real life, so fiction is great for living out fantasies like that. e_e I know the circumstances here are slightly different, but that was my response~

Nakamura is my favorite character, I think. I don't really understand why she's going all this, but she's got Kasuga completely bound to her will.

I can't wait until I read the manga. I'm enjoying the anime so much that I'm afraid the manga will be so much better as everyone says that I won't be able to watch this anymore. <3

It is the original version of the regular ending.

Funny, I find it is perfect thanks to the rotoscope. Would never get the emotion on their faces this good without it.

Yeah. The rotoscope is what makes this anime a masterpiece. It's great.

He snapped. XD
Also the new version of the ED is more disturbing than the previous one.

Nakamura broke down all Kasuga's inhibitions through her clever manipulation. She is definitely the most interesting character in the show.
