| Has something to do with reality. If you want to be 'pretty' in the real world, it's going to COST you a bucket load of cash. And even then plastic surgeons aren't miracle workers. Anime is just a drawn image. It looks as good as the artist feels like. Girls have impossible hair, unlikely breasts, wonderful smiles, perfect figures and nice voices all because it's intentional. Hey some anime girls have no tits at all to speak of, just depends on how you were created for the story line eh. But very few are fat ugly lumps of flesh with a hairdo disaster. And in the real world, a lot of guys with incredible muscle development likely prefer fucking guys, or have something wrong with their performance. All that muscle mass isn't free. It's only in anime that total beefcake is almost certainly unaffected with the cost of becoming beefcake. |
| While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku. At least I can go see her in concert. |
| I should mention, that 'real' girls, that are totally over weight, and lacking in every possible aspect that could be considered 'desirable', still enjoy active sex lives. Hey, do you think people over 40 stop having sex just because they lost that ideal look you often can have at 20? Neither my wife or myself have anything in common with 'attractive' :) But I still enjoy having sex with her. And I can't picture replacing her with a beach broad just on the basis of a firm ass and generous tits inside a skimpy bikini. Sex is only what you let it be to you. |

| Unfortunately I have to say, that I don't think people would like to watch anime, if anime girls (or guys) aren't good-looking. Of course, everyone don't think that way. But someones do. |

| lol this thread again....The creators can make the characters look however they want, literally perfect in every way. The same thing could be said about many of the male characters. It's supposed to appeal to the people who watch it, would it really be the same if many of the female or male characters looked normal? Probably not... |

| Imagine being able to make a perfectly symmetric face with no blemishes, no imperfections, and and being able to focus on certain features at any given moment...it's kind of like that but instead of flesh artists use pencils, brushes, clay, etc... |
