| Has anyone or someone you who done it before? Changing your name and making it official so that all your documents show a name that you've given yourself. How did you/they find the whole process? And would you be interested in changing your full name if given the chance? And do you honestly like the way your name is? |

| I don't know anyone who changed their full name, but my friend's mother changed her middle name to "Zelda" and another girl I know also changed her middle name to some artists name. If I were to change my name, I would just want too add a surname from my mothers side. As of right now both my first and last name is from my fathers side of the family. I would never want to change my entire name, because I see no reason too. |

I've got what is probably one of the most common names in England, so I'd very much like to change mine, but when you're used to being called something all your life, you couldn't imagine being called anything else. What if you change your name, someone calls that new name and you don't respond instantly, because you forget that is your name now? |

| In Phil. law, it only happens on marriage, child surname issue. With the slow processing of papers here, you'd be dead before you'll get your official new name if you just made it up for some random reasons. |
