| I felt this was very enjoyable for an anime original episode. I liked how they showed Naruto taking his first step towards the Oodama Rasengan, which was something I wish Kishimoto touched upon in the manga. |
| It was okay even iff it was a filler still i prefer no fillers. |

| Wtf is this shit? Naruto says that they wouldn't have managed without that boys help. That's bullshit! Jiraiya wasn't really caught by the genjutsu since it was a clone, and Naruto wouldn't have been defeated from it because of the Kyuubi. You know, the Kyuubi must be the ultimate weapon against genjutsu. I remember when Naruto and Neji fought, then the Kyubi's power entered and the chakra maps didn't count anymore..! |

Stupid fillers only thing good about the ep was seeing Minato at the end and actually hearing is voice :) oh and the 'grandson' part was cute. and im going to assume that Jiraiya just pretended to be a weak idiot for the entire filler because he was training Naruto. Cuz seriously if he's a Sannin he could have saved that whole village in one shot, but noooo the filler had to drag on, that had to try and make a minor character important in some way. And Naruto's fighting was pathetic as per usual. *sigh* |
| 5/5 - first step towards the Oodama Rasengan 5/5 - Jiraya was in it and totally rules. Even though he was just playing around focusing on training Naruto. 2/5 - Excitement/story. A bit interesting Naruto makes chakra runn in a ball around himself and explode so froggy bitch got slapped and defeated. 1/5 It was a filler. Average: 3.25 Rounded down to a total score of 3/5. "It was OK". Compared to other fillers, pretty good. |

| My reaction to the ending: Seriously? flash of light, random shouting, and thats all? =( I kind of liked this episode, then rushed ending was cheap, and kind of a letdown (yes, i know... what do i expect from a filler. |

| Oodama Rasengan. Yeah... Lacked epicness, big time. WTF, floating towards big ass ostrich, and water starts flying around? Yeah... epic... Jiraiya wasn't trapped, and the Kyuubi would have shaken the shit out of his chakra and released the genjutsu. So much for "oh if this stupid little boy hadn't been around we'd have been fucked". Overall: Stupid story, lacking epicness. Next. |
