I was really confused when even Mikasa was 100% sure Eren's alive. How could he? He got EATEN pretty brutally. I assume you're referring to the preview? All explained in the next episode. As a matter of fact, it will probably kick off that way. Though if you really want to know, since its not too suprising... As for the FT's 'brutal' chomping of Eren, well I thought Reiner's 'death' was too real to survive from. Rough, yes. But it doesn't look like he would really die from that. Mind you, he can regenerate. |

Attack on Titan takes a different path other than the cliche route that so many other shounen cling to about always trusting your friends/comrades no matter what. That's one thing that makes this series so great, it's not afraid to do something different. Just as Levi said, often times in hellish situations you just have to make a decision and live with the consequences since reality can be so unpredictable. |

| I'm hoping the anime doesn't end before they explain why the FT wants to capture Eren rather than kill him. Unless the titan power users think they can brainwash him to join their cause, whatever that might be, wouldn't it be better to just off him? What information/assets could Eren have that they'd want? That aside, I'd love to see some (more) destruction mode Levi & Mikasa sword dancing next time, they have friends to revenge >:/ |

| Have you people noticed? Eren realized who was the female Titan moments before the kick cut his titan head. Nice episode but too short thanks to the combination of recap+ opening. Almost five minutes lost on that O_o |

FT Horror The scene the frame rate for the scene wasn't very good at all tbh. I agree, it was much nastier in the manga. Hopefully a BD fix should do the trick. |

| This episode was just fucking amazing. Once Levi's team told Eren to believe in them I knew they were going to die. Goddamnedd nakama power. Man I was liking Levi's team too. That Titan v. Titan fight was just epic. I got really into it and caught myself almost throwing a random punch in the air. Also Mikasa was badass too. Glad that she showed off some insane manuevers this episode. Also when they showed Petra's body it hurt just a lil bit inside. She definitely was my fav. |

He had her pinned down and instead of going for the lower neck he punched the face leaving her free space to move her head and avoid it. I honestly think that this is nitpicking, though. Seeing the amount of things they've done right in this episode are just so high up the scale that not even a 3-minute recap, missing animations and hiccups here and there can topple the episode's overall quality whatsoever. And I fanboy even more whenever I think that it's even gonna look more amazing in the BDs. If there's one little detail that basically made this one of the most memorable episodes for me, it's when Levi was passing through his squad mates. At first, I thought to myself that they should've changed the soundtrack into something more mellow and sentimental when Levi was looking at the gruesome deaths of his squadmates. But then I began to realise how effective using that certain soundtrack actually was in the scene. I felt that using an aggressive song during that part made me imagine Levi's thoughts differently, something along the lines of 'This Female Titan bitch killed my team? All the more reason to destroy Titans and give them the most painful deaths'.' It felt like it was no time to be sentimental, and that his squadmates' deaths are a testament to why he has to continue demolishing Titans even more, no matter how emotionally stricken he is. That single scene defined a lot of things for me, even if it wasn't intentionally made by the staff to be that way, honestly. Oh, and brilliant episode, btw. |
