| MC = Main Character for the weak. Well, the title says it all. I will give some examples: Inuyasha - MC would be Inuyasha obviously, but Kagome has to enter the same category, as half of the anime is just about her. Samurai Champloo - MC would be the two samurais and the girl, I forgot their name. Darker than Black Gaiden - The OVA where the Yin and Hei go out. Hei is the Darker than Black's MC, but Yin was the true MC here, so at this case both would be MCs. Fullmetal Alchemist: ED and hes brothers would be MCs So I want to know if those assumptions are really right of if an anime can only have one MC actually. |

There's technically no main character, but if you count Isaac/Miria for connecting all the stories, then I'll change my answer. Actually, why'd you say Darker than Black Gaiden rather than just regular Darker than Black anyways? There's more than 2 main characters right there. |

| Hitman Reborn had 7 main characters and it keep the story consistent with them all. So if they can have more than two the answer would be yes. |
