| Its been a long long time since I have been excited over this manga. Great chapter. All I can say is that the yesterday's spoilers DO NOT cover on HOW BIG the explosion is... If you look closely at the end page - even the parts outside the crater are in rubles... There's NOTHING left standing in Konoha, with the center turned into crater and bits around the walls in shambles. |

| it was a very quick paced chapter. with everyone dead, who is naruto going to be hokage to? i wonder what sasuke's reaction to this would be. he says i want destruction yet he seems so easy to flip sides. im guessing that soul thingy that came from shizune means she is dead. that sucks, i kind of liked her char. i guess now is when root and danzou can really take control of konoha. |

I doubt everyone is dead.  Most likely everyone from older gen. parents are dead, with especially high probability for those who we saw just before explosion. Hyuuga clan part is quite close to the walls, thus, even if buildings collapsed, named characters from there most likely survived. AS for Sasuke, I can only say one thing - irony. He sets a goal for revenge - he never gets it. He wanted to kill Itachi - yet Itachi died by himself after completely overpowering and humiliating Sasuke. He wanted to capture Eight-Tailes - but instead was made a fool of by him. He wanted to destroy Konoha - But oh surprise! someone else did that already. And yes. Shizune is quite much 100% dead. |

| Was that just the trump card of Kishimoto-san? I can't just belive that Pain really owned Konoha that easily... man I can't really believe that he wiped out the whole Town just like that.. Really Pain is a godamned freak that is a whole disgrace for human beings... Just Sakura? nah I dun think so... There gotta be Lee's team around too... well at least.. and I dun think Danzo was killed that easily... remember he's the other "problem" of Konoha... Al this for the biggest battle of the century... we all hope so ne? Go Naruto and kick Pain's ass hahahaha... | Whoa, Konoha got absolutely obliterated! I'm wondering if Shinra Tensei has made Nagato too frail for direct combat. I knew Naruto would get back when it was too late. What the hell is Sasuke going to live for now? Looks like it's time for him to go back to the drawing board, lol. |

Looking closer at it, I feel sorry for Ichiraku Ramen. But Naruto should be really pissed about that. But yeah, I think this chapter made up for last week's. |

| First time in god knows how long i've said "Holy shit" during a Naruto chapter. One of the best chapter's in ages, totally did not see Konoha ending up this way, and the way it was even destroyed. I just hope that Kishimoto does'nt pull some shit like all the named characters survive or something, although saying that i think a few of them will survive including Tsunade, since the slug she summoned was able to protect Sakura, im sure the various slugs she sent out where able to protect herself and others. Think this chapters is a strong indication that this manga is finally coming to an end, or atleast after the next arc or so. |

| gotta admit, these last few chapters have really made me wanting more and more and i havent felt like this is a LONG time reading this manga. I really dont see how anything else could happen after this arc going on here, i really do think that this Manga might finally end after so long, too much has happened, people dying, and the whole frigging city being destroyed, we may very well be heading to the end of all things Naruto o.o |

Pain blows up Konoha, Naruto and Frog are aware of the other frog's disappearance, Shizune's soul is gone and Sakura screaming for Naruto. This is all leading up to the main event. Can NOT wait....after having to endure so many crappy chapters before. |

The plot was sucking, well not directly the plot but how they presented it, but now they are havin decent plot with good presentation and it "could" turn my thoughts about naruto for now.. |

| The irony is that the explosion was so loud it woke Kakashi from his sleep and then he finds noone. So Shizune is dead at the least, I am abit afraid for Kiba after that stupid line, Shino and Ino were shown right before too, but if Tsunade lived, then at least Ino needs to live to tell Tsunade about Shizune. And where is Shikamaru?! |

| Does anyone else see the Star Wars reference in all of this? Obi Wan(Jiraiya) trains a kid who he thinks will be the chosen one (Pain) who turns evil and Obi Wan then decides to train Luke(Naruto) believing that he will be the actual chosen one. Anakin becomes Darth Vader and the Sith Lord's grunt (Tobi) and then goes off and kills Obi Wan pissing Luke off who goes off training with Yoda(the Frog people) and then decides to come back to fight Darth Vader and avenge Obi Wan. This chapter in my opinion just foreshadowed to how pain will die. Him and Naruto will fight but Pain will start to like naruto because everyone eventually likes naruto and Pain then goes off to fight tobi kills him and die because of his shorten lifespan. Which like Star wars will end with Pain actually being the destined child and not Naruto, but Naruto will be considered the Hero because like Luke he would convince Pain to change and save the world instead of firing his death star jitsu which would still make him the destined child because he started the spark that would bring peace. |
