I've been a low-tier suomiaboo myself, though I never went as far as my online friends who actually studied the language. Some recent characters: From Akiba's Trip, https://myanimelist.net/character/146658/Arisa_Ahokainen "She is a half-Japanese transfer student from Finland." http://akibas.wikia.com/wiki/Arisa_Ahokainen (Of course she's half - http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ButNotTooForeign ) The rest of these are from fantasy worlds but have noticeably Finnish names, because of course Finland is an alternate dimension.
