Wow so this is fairy tail response to DBZ VS ONE PIECE VS TORIKO A-1 pictures coulda gone a LONG way with this but instead took the easy way out I mean don't these people have SAO, Blue Exorcist, Black Butler, and Magi to work with here now if Blue Exorcist, Fairy tale, and Magi did a crossover we can start talking but nobody really cares about rave master let it die in the pits of worst anime to appear on toonami >:C |

I wouldn't be surprised if this was Mashima's goal from day one with Fairy Tail. "I'll dumb down my writing and give the people some simple, fun and easy-going plot coupled with fan-service and a variety of eccentric characters so I can become more popular with the kids, in hopes that one day my "real story" that stole all my tears will be looked at when Fairy Tail ends (well, anime, in this case) and gets the credit it deserved." A cross-over adaption is a START ^^. Not even asking for a re-make (though it would be epic), just need more people to actually look at, and complete the story/manga. |

Look at Sieghart, then look at Jellal (there is still potential here, though I DOUBT it). Look at Shuda, then look at Laxus. Look at Haru/Elie, then look at Natsu/Lucy. I don't know about this one, but I myself preferred Griffo and Ruby BY FAR over the Exceed. Oh yeah, Let/Julia technically are dragons too lol. The only thing I'll give Fairy Tail is Zeref (potential) and Erza, though Erza is getting very, very repetitive as well. Still, nothing compares to the Gale and King tragedy up to this day IMO (which was EARLY Rave), let alone the build up to and the actual "Symphonia arc" and what follows up to the finale. Oh yeah, I should also mention that Rave is 298 chapters long, in other words, Fairy Tail has already passed that mark. Man, Rave was a story. Fairy Tail is just face-value entertainment imo (though I still enjoy it, I can't take it too seriously. Even though this new "time" event in FT manga is giving off Rave vibes). Though I wouldn't say Mashima lost his edge, he's just conforming for the masses and taking it easy. Fairy Tail got more popularity didn't it? This is the business he works for. |

It's just annoying when someone comes in here and generalizes 99% of Mashima's fanbase like that. I like both for different reasons, even though I like one more by far over the other and I'll leave it at that. At the end of the day, I'm not ever planning on dropping Fairy Tail, and I can appreciate the fun and easy going aspect of it, so no complaints or excessive comparisons here. I was just jumping on to the boat of replies to that generalizing post. About the jiggle-butt gang, I really hope it's NOT them lol. Those minutes should be saved for characters like Shuda(unlikely sadly), Sieghart, Musica/Reina, Let/Julia, and of course RUBY and GRIFFO. |
