| Just a quick poll to get a view on what Chuuni watchers think about the significant reveal on the all-too-cute Nibutani! I personally think it's awesome because she adds a different dynamic to the cast rather than simply being a visual decoration. I also have my personal biases towards multi-sided cute girls (Miya-Miya in Bamboo Blade is an example). I see Nibutani having a tsukkomi role as well, but through true and uncute verbal and physical harassment! |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Well i guess now that she revealed her true colours she's no longer waifu material for many. I see quite a few tears in the discussion thread. At any rate great, being as dysfunctional as the others makes her far more funny and interesting to watch. Really cant stand watching characters with little to no flaws they bore me to tears. |

Honestly I think it's better that she has an attitude because at least this way the show has more variety, and not simply just about moe girls being incredibly cute. I find Dekomori to be heck of a lot more annoying than her at any rate. |

| I think with the reveals in ep 5 about her as to why she is a Cheerleader and a class rep I've come to like her real personality even more. Basically she is a female version of Yuuta, busy trying to erase her past by doing typical 'honours student' things, even if she doesn't enjoy it. |

| I think my biggest problem with her is that she's a real hypocrite. Even after Yuuta found out he was being used by Shinka, he confided about his past chuunibyou-isms to cheer her up and she calls him a "loser/gross". I know Yuuta has his somewhat abusive moments towards Rikka and Dekamori. But i don't think he flat out hated them cause they still suffered from the same disease he's trying to get away from. |

| Liked her in Episode 4. Hated her in Lite 5. Found her alright in Episode 5. Grew fond of her in Lite 6. Outside of Lite 5. Where she's shown to be a complete bitch who hurt others at the smallest things, her true character have been more than tolerable, in fact kinda cute. |

| I wonder what the "True" Nibutani is like... In the novel, Dekomori does not exist, and neither does Kumin. Most of the time we see Nibutani in the anime she is engaging with Dekomori (and occasionally Kumin). What does Nibutani do in the novel? Does she show a different character or different side of her there? Is her relationship with Yuta and Rikka different there. This gets me intrigued. |

| Gosh I love Shinka, she is such a bitch. Answer to the Topic: She is both, an awful person, but that is pretty awesome. It's wonderful with some variation from all these moe charaters in the past decade. |
