When a girl comes into my room uninvited, and starts hitting me with whatever she has at the end of her twintails, I'd be pissed as well. Tying her up was a good way to stop her from hitting him and him pointing a gun (most likely a water pistol) is just his way of showing her she's not welcome, even more so when SHE decides to make the rules on how he should behave around her. on top of that he had perverted dreams about shinka He's a teenager, Shinka is the hottest girl in his school. Of course he's gonna fantasize about her. I'd be more worried if he didn't. this guy is either the best dad in the world or a psyco. I can't say anything about his child-raising capabilities (at the very least, I don't think he'd raise his children by hitting them all the time), but he's definitely not a psycho. |

| maybe i didn't use the right words when making this what i mean is yuuta can usually be caught hitting rikka, but he doesn't actually harm her more or less knock some sense into her. but i see where the word abusive can be misunderstood i need to widen my vocabulary. |

| Let's just remember, these bitches are COMING INTO HIS HOUSE while he is SLEEPING and then waking him up. They are not related to him, they do not live there, he doesn't like them (at least the new girl in ep 3). They have no business being in there. This is the one thing that has always pissed me off about anime. If a bitch comes into your house you can legally shoot her. Maybe not in Japan, but at the very least he could beat the shit out of them. They should NOT stand for it. Maybe it's because I hate the new girl (blonde in ep 3), but he really needs to just kick her ass out. That dude in Hidan no Aria should've done the same thing. Same thing with Ayumu in Kore wa zombie desu ka? But as for Yuuta... it's comical for the series. Doesn't need to be taken seriously. |

As for him mistreating rikka... in germany we have a saying that goes "Leichte schläge auf den hinterkopf erhöhen das denkvermögen", which roughly translates to "a soft blow to the back of the head makes one smarter". | I can't but feel a little upset on a visceral level when Yuuta hits Rikka. It's the essence of moe; the protective instinct that leaps out when you see someone that cute and innocent hurt. There's no reason to take it too seriously, though. It's just there for comedic effect, and it doesn't look like Yuuta puts too much force into those jabs. :) (And Rikka makes the most adorable faces you'll ever see afterwards, so there's that too...) |
