Different source media, you can't really compare them VC is from a game, all the actions and stories are already visualized, where as LNs are not instantly so easy to visualize. |

So I got wind of the preview. This is what I think of it. First of all Keiko’s part in the following, Will be something to look forward to along with the spoiler About Keiko "Silica" Ayano, my first impression of her in the spoiler I am worried over how dramatic things will get in the spoiler Judging by how amazing the scene with Kirito in the spoiler We know already in the spoiler However what I will be expecting much more is the following,  Along with spoiler Add to that some nice embarrassing moment in the spoiler Finally Keiko in the spoiler About other elements, looks like Big Breasted Girl coming in the spoiler BTW Image Stitch in the spoiler Collage of the preview in the spoiler Rest of GIFs for fun of the preview in the club: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=468323 The clubbing by the Ape somewhat pisses me off. |

| i have to admit she does look alot like asuna when she lets her hair down they definitely can't screw up the next episode, if they do then i will worry about this anime still i am looking forward to watching it, kirito being a badass as always and i really can't wait :D |

| Wow, I am just loving this anime more and more. At first I wasn't even thinking of trying it but then I noticed that it beat Naruto and bleach on a website's "highest rated series" and I thought if that many people liked it than it better be good. In the past I've tried accel world but it wasn't really interesting to me. This is totally different! I highly reccomend this anime :D |

| Wow, after this epi I can rly say I dislike the series so much! First epi was rly decent and nice, 2nd tried to force me to feel sad abt a guy who tried to win for himself the bonus and then died and in this I have to feel sad abt how sad and lonely Kirito is. Rly? From the moment this epi started I had 2 thoughts "This guild is gonna break up in an episode at most and Sachi will be first to die" Close enough! I understand Sachi, I liked Sachi, I didn't like this super rushed feeling again. I kinda felt sry for her but Kirito's unjustified "hero's burden" is annoying the hell out of me to feel sad. I don't know why he pretends to be the one that has to save everyone, why it's his responsibility and only his alone. Why does HE have to be so emo like everything that's happening in this game it's his fault? Cause you were a beta tester? Cause you are high lvl? And? It doesn't make you the one to be all like mighty and the dark hero who has all the burdens of the world on his back. You are a player and that's it. Try not to be so stupidly secretive for no reason. It doesn't have to do with you! Move on, GAWD! Ugh, I'm just sure next episodes are gonna be more rushed stories, random deaths, forced feelings that don't touch me and at the same time will have to deal with Kirito's totally unjustified super emoness! So not looking forward to this but I don't like dropping anime so I'll let it be. Heard the LNs are rly good and I sure hope so. Though I don't plan on reading them, it's nice to know the story itself is processed better than this crap >_> EDIT: I do hope they are not gonna pull off a Guilty Crown on us ~.~ |

I'd think the 2nd one was main story as well since he met the other main girl! Though I don't know but it did feel like it! This one does seem too side story-ish. I don't rly know much abt the story itself and I can only judge from what I'm seeing and what I'm seeing is rly not that good right now. But I do like the idea of this anime and I sincerely hope it'll turn better and praying that his emoness lvl will lessen by a lot cause half the time I wanna punch my screen xD |

The 1st epiosde was the Prologue Chapter of Volume 1. Ep 2, 3 and the next one 4 and expect maybe the 5th are all from the 2nd Volume which is a compilation of Side stories explaining what actually happen to Kirito between the Prologue Chapter and the 1st Chapter of Volume 1. FYI, Chapter 1 instantly jumped to Floor 70-ish, while giving some small flashbacks to those events mentioned in vol 2. I heard that volume 2 was written because many people wants to know Kirito's past. So, basically stories that was supposed to be written as a prequel was suddenly adapted as a regular sequel. Try reading the manga to get a gist of "an adaptation" without this chronology thing. |

| they did something risky by putting in "aria in the starless sky" (ep.2) because its contradictory to how asuna said she and kirito met in vol.1 also they never even adapted it entirely, they cut out the story behind diabel which makes his death more meaningful. well hope it doesn't affect the story too much also the story is rushed as hell due to the anime wanting to fit in as many arcs as possible and them having a limited time period also it lacks detail which explains the feelings of the character that comes from the LN, so you dont get the same idea of loneliness that kirito had been through and the insanity of having those important to you taken away also as explained by the LN kirito was happy when he was thanked by the guild for helping them and asking him to join, he had been a solo player for a long time so he was delighted to join them even though he had lied to them about his level in order for him to fit in with them because he didn't want to be an outcast so as i explained before to other people, he felt guilty that he carried on hiding his level and if he had told them about the dangers in the dungeon they might not have died, not only does he blame himself for failing to protect them but also because he failed to keep his promise to sachi that "she won't die" and this also led to keita committing suicide. he blamed himself for the "black cats" death and had that heavy burden for 6 months although it wasn't shown as clearly as the LN it was still there in the anime |

He knew that this floor was full of very dangerous trap but since he knew most of the area he thought that he could somehow guide them into areas that are safes. He should have told them that this area was dangerous but he didn't because someone of his level (That is the level he told his guild he was) wasn't supposed to have put a foot on this floor and thus wasn't supposed to know that this area was very dangerous. Now in ep 2 Kirito took the beater title which is a contraction of 'beta tester' and 'cheater'. He did this in an attempt to separate himself from the casual beta tester as so they aren't excluded from parties. His train of thought at that moment was something around "If we want to leave this world we need to cooperate, if there's internal fighting amongst us we will not be able to move foward". Basically he told others "I'll use my knowledge for myself so good luck and have fun, but don't mix me with the rest of the beta tester since they aren't like me" He didn't meant to be a beater. While it's true he was alone at the beginning he would have found a party, made friend and entered a guild soon enough. He became a beater as to repair the situation between the beta tester and the new players. Kirito has been going for months alone, if not a year. I don't know if you can imagine yourself being alone for months, beating monsters with your life on the line, sleeping 3 to 4 hours a day and your only pleasure being eating food that taste bland but it's a situation that would get most people depressed. When he joined that guild he was very happy, they accepted him, he thought that if he said his real level he would be labeled a beater and would be ignored. At that point Kirito had nobody to rely on, everyone on the higher floor view him as a beater and if he wasn't under constant insults he was ignored. The only person that cared about him was Klein but Kirito couldn't forgive himself from leaving him on his own on the first floor so he thought that he didn't had the right to indulge in his kindness. Kirito is not emo, the anime just does not have the time to explain his every train of thought. I still beleive they should have taken the whole 24 episodes for Vol 1 & 2, they had far enough material to do so and it would have made it much much better. |
