| Praise the lord! A main character who isn't a sissy that feels guilt ridden at his advantage. Finally, a male lead who won't take other people's sht and can stand on his own two feet. |

cant wait for the next episode to come out. This one was done incredibly well, but was kinda disappointed when the excluded Argo the rat from this episode as well as the bath scene with asuna ^^ |

| That's true, they did get the main points across..but the sides were pretty long too. I ain't gonna hate on it though since its still SAO =x (I still thought the battle could at least not be so fast ><) but you're right, @endlessabyss |

| wow very fast paced,but stuil an AMAZINg episode , ...the only thing im questioning is how are their real bodies getting nurishment? the only idea is an IV of some sort,but that would be expensive to have since it looks like they will be there for awhile.... |

Anyone who got trapped in the death game was transferred to hospitals and put on life support. This was around the time when the deaths occured due to people forcefully taking off the NervGear, etc. and the Government issued this following the launch and these deaths They didn't really mention this in episode 1..iirc |

And it's not like they have to keep all 10,000. Remember before the game even started 200+ already died. Now it's only down to less than 8000 players w/ 2000 dead. And it's only going to decrease even further... |

When the fighting started it became a little like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann art style some people will love it i guess, though im only just fine with it. I noticed that they kept taking short cuts with still shots as well during the fight which annoyed me. They dont seem to be giving this a huge budget. I honestly dont know why they rushed this into 1 episode the only answer i can come up with is that the idiots want to force their way through SAO and cover ALO as well. Which is stupid they should not try to chase both they should of just focused on SAO. They also seem to have skipped the first day side story which was in the 8th novel as a side story which makes me think again that they are pushing to cover ALO as well. Maybe they will flashback it later but i dont see why they would when they decided to go in chronological order. Not like i hated the episode but its not like it could not have been better and saw no reason cut it back into 1 episode. |

LONG. ? The side stories are meant to fill as fillers for the series that's why they are side stories. We haven't even seen a episode from the main story other then ep 1 |

| I thought it was pretty awesome, I mean sure it was a tad rushed but i hate when they drag things out, I think they did a wonderful job and the battle scene was like mouth watering. XD I DIDN'T READ THE LIGHT NOVEL, so I don't give a shit if this episode was shit compared to it. I mean, you people can't live comparing something to something all the time. -___- |

| When I first started SAO, I had only previously glanced over the LNs a bit VERY briefly. After watching the first episode, and now the second episode, I fell in love with the series all too quickly. After wanting more, today, well, no more than a few hours ago, I started to read the LNs. Only 7 chapters in currently, but I already have a bad taste in my mouth. For starters, the first episode was completely canon to the LNs, and now seeing and reading both, I was very pleased. However, the second episode, seemed to fall flat. It was rushed, and the introduction of Asuna fell very flat. Not sure what to think as of now, but its still very early to judge it overall. For now, I'll continue to read the LNs and curb my SAO craving. |
