Yeah I lol'ed. They may be called American, but ''America'' doesn't exist in the first place xD

Why do you list 49 counties but say it has been licensed for release in only 16? Also, why do you list Canada twice? Once in America, and again as Canada. Are they just that special?

Well, I'm happy that the movies are going to go pass the anime, but I'd be a little more excited if only it wasn't mostly animated in 3d... It's a shame too because the 2d parts look amazing. But whatever, Viz is bringing to North America and I'll definitely pick up the dvd or blu ray so what evs.

Will you guys give Redfoxoffire a break? Read the source. it reads |Clarification: While the English translation of the countries listed in the official Facebook page begins with "North America, Canada[...]", the Japanese release begins with "America, Canada[...]".| in the source. ANN decided to invent a new country named America and at the same time, decided that Canada doesn't belong in North America. More like respecting the mistakes made in the FB official page. Dare I say, we know how good Japan is with its English.

I lol'ed at this though: "The countries include:", but that's another matter.

Really!? Awesome, the only thing we ever got here that I know of (besides kids shows like Pokémon) was Evangelion 1.0. And they never bothered with giving us the sequel... So I guess I'm damn happy with the news.

The 3rd movie is supposed to end the Golden Age arc, and lead to the start of the Eclipse arc, which is also where the anime ended at. The Berserk film project is supposed to be lasting over a decade though, so hopefully they'll be able to catch up to a fairly recent chapter.

Thats how anime works.

Let the important economies in on the fun while small counties resort to downloading (or streaming)

Second that. I see people getting excited about cinema (and even IMAX :p), but usually, doesn't it only means DVD release ? I'm just referring to my memories of other announcement of that kind.
