I think that is a truly good trait of him to sorta leap without looking and act on pure instinct right when he heard the scream. I know it was kinda bad that he sorta ignored Kanna's feelings but that's exactly what Kanna's been doing to Ishigaki. All in all why would you want to force a one sided relationship. This episode and last clearly shows he does not want to be with Kanna. TBH though, I feel like his love for Takatsuki is really shallow and stupid. Sure, his actions in this episode show that the CREATORS wanted him to love her, but the situation just doesn't match up. He meets her a few weeks ago, and apparently "falls in love at first sight". More like lust for physical characteristics to me. Just because Ichika is beautiful doesn't mean she has to have the upper hand :/ I just wish for once the faithful, alright-looking good friend for once would have a chance to shine rather than the usual beautiful girl who was just introduced about a week ago. So stupid :( Oh, and Kanna's not purposefully doing that on Ishigaki. Kanna has no clue that Ishigaki likes her. Even for US, there's really no signs of him having feelings for her when she's around him. She's also blinded by love for Kaito, AND Ishigaki's trying to help her with Kaito so why should she think that he likes her? Sorry for the rant.. xD Just kinda passionate about Kanna :P |

So stupid :( Unfortunately this is how the trope goes. If the childhood friend isn't set up as the OTP from the beginning, they have a much harder time reaching their goal. Also, the new girl almost ALWAYS wins. ALWAYS. I don't know why this is so common in anime, but I guess people tend to be drawn to new things versus what is already familiar. Try to break up the OTP, as I hope this show will, and it will be written off as trash. Wonderful, beautiful trash :) Doubt it will try to break it up...because it's too late in the series....but yes you're right. It will be trash. |

| I don't get the Kaito hate either. While it's unfortunate he left Kanna alone, Ichika was the one in danger. Of course he'll go off to try and save her. I think people are forgetting Kaito's feelings too. He hasn't shown an ounce of liking Kanna even before Ichika showed up. But he has shown time and time again that he loves Ichika. |

Anyway you say the situation doesn't match up and he just, "falls in love at first sight." The thing is the situation doesn't have to match up; it doesn't have to make sense, it is love after all. It's like a chemical reaction. Sure Ichika might be better looking than Kanna but I think he felt/saw something about her that he's never felt/saw before, like a vibe or aurora. Also why do you think Kanna fell in love with Kai? Why do people fall in love in general? It honestly could be anything not just a physical lust which I don't think he has for her. Just genuine love. Also Kanna might not be doing that to Ishigaki on purpose but same thing applies to Kanna and Kai. He's not exactly ignoring her feelings, he's just prioritizing them and it just so happened Ichika is first on his list. Still Kai doesn't truly know Kanna has feelings for him, for all he know's it could just be some lie Ishigaki made up. The show has given some very small but noticeable hints that Ishigaki likes Kanna, she is after all a childhood friend of his. We also don't really know what Kanna knows since she kinda is too focused on a lost cause (Kai.) |

| If Kanna was the one who screamed, yeah Kaito would run off to help her. Even though he doesn't have romantic feelings for her, she is still his friend. He would help anyone who was in danger whether it'll be Ichika, Kanna, Tetsurō, Mio, or Lemon. It would be even worse he didn't ran off to save Ichika. Granted Ichika wasn't in danger when she screamed but by time he got there she was. He couldn't have known Rinon was reason she screamed. |

She chose to act this way instead of stepping her game up and taking preemptive action before a potential rival (Ichika, who moved pretty slowly, BTW) could. Another reason that's directly related to this is the fact that she's ignoring someone else (Tetsurou) to play this masochistic game. And I do think that if anyone's going to alienate (lol nice one, whoever said it--editing window doesn't let me see) Ichika, it's going to be Kanna, and in a very mean/rude way. She strikes me as the type. And that's apparently bad how? That's why I like her character, it's BELIEVABLE. When her competition is a well endowed pretty older girl, obviously she's going to be at least a little discouraged. Normal girls beat around the bush, because confessing your feelings isn't easy. And plus, she tried to get her feelings across to Kaito before that whole rescue pod thing happened lol. As far as Tetsuro goes, he only really showed his feelings for Kanna when she wasn't looking, I can't blame her for not knowing. I guess people are entitled to take sides and whatnot, but I think it's a bit silly when it's all just fictional. I prefer to try and understand each character rather than to judge them based on a bias due to who I ship / don't ship lol |

EDIT: Really if Ichika/Kanna and Kaito/Tetsurou had been paired up, it would have been SOOOOO good. Not only would they have gotten to talk to one another about their feelings and other's feelings, but when Ichika's attacked and Kaito comes to the rescue her, Kanna would feel like she was being rescued too. I rather have that than what transpired. Missed opportunity :( You're right I forgot that Tetsurou/Mio screamed earlier. |

| I personally enjoyed the episode. I liked the fact that Kaito ran off to save Ichika, because it shows how much he cares for her and obviously loves her. As much as I don't really like Kanna, I did feel sorry for her...however, from every episode I've seen, its apparent that she knows that Kaito likes/loves Ichika. I know its hard to give up on a crush/love, but I think she should realize that she basically has no chance...Kaito only sees her as a friend and nothing more... On another note, Ichika broke my heart when she was crying and apologizing non-stop : ( |

| Another amazing episode I must say. That ending was definitely worth watching again. So much drama! Poor Kanna......So we now know Kaito likes Ichika more from that. And that scene where Kaito rescues Ichika was so unexpected! Kaito is awesome!!!! So now everyone knows Ichika is an alien. Wonder how everyone will treat her now? Like I've always said, I can't wait for the next episode!!! |

Just because he doesn't have an answer, or I would rather say he would feel awkward, even though he should damn well say that he cannot return her feelings because he has someone else, i.e. Ichika, when he ran off to save Ichika it looked more as if Ichika screaming just then gave him a sorry opening to leave Kanna behind. Despite the protagonist not knowing anything about that girl he's "in love" with. I'm sick of it. |

I doubt he's going to end up dead in the end, and i don't think the ending will be sad either, mostly because the writing style isn't building up for a climax like that. You can usually tell what type of animes will have their characters die, and which ones wouldn't. |

| I still think this anime would have been a lot better without all of the alien nonsense. It is 8 episodes in, and the alien stuff has just barely been touched on. No point having it if it wasn't going to be some major anchoring plot device. Tetsurou and Mio falling into that position was pure bullshit from the scriptwriters. Hated it. I'm hoping Kanna finally decided to give up. It looked like she did. Next episode looks rather uneventful despite what happened in this one. |

I don't know about her actual intentions, but she's manipulating everyone into being honest with their feelings, which, I guess is the theme of the anime? |

I watch this anime mainly for Rinon, that little guy is too cute! Senpai actually looked really adorable to me for once. Bravo! I finally understand why Kaito would think she's attractive but still Tannigawa beats her anyday. And what is this...the other boy likes Tannigawa...I amslightly confused...HMMM. |
