| * Kuroshitsuji. 1st season, the 2nd one was simply weird. Even though there're many humorous moments, there's doom looming over the main character. And I'm pretty sure that the manga, which is ongoing, will end with the death. * D.Gray-man. The overall atmosphere. And again, I don't think there will be a happy ending (especially for Allen and Kanda). *Weiss Kreuz. Nothing that is NOT depressing out there. * Samurai 7. Character deaths. * Ayashi no Ceres. The reason would be the spoiler for the series :P * Twelve Kingdoms. Struggle with human intolerance. * Wolf's Rain. Just like with Weiss - there's nothing positive there. And one pale ray of hope dies out anyway. * Rurouni Kenshin (Reminiscence and Reflection). It turned me into a sobbing bundle for a while. * DN Angel. Dark :( * Fate-stay night. Saber and Archer are the reasons. There are actually many more but those are the ones that made me most emotional. |

| Just finished Saikano and i gotta say it´s right up to the toplist of depressing anime for me. More depressing than sad though. |

| I don't usually watch sad anime, because I like watching happy ones most of the time. But my saddest anime would have to be Code Geass. :( |

| Utawarerumono, Code Geass R2 and Chrono Crusade. The animes themselves weren't totally depressing.. but I'd say the endings kinda were :( |
| School Days - because of the brutal, wtf, ending which totally came out of nowhere. Fate/Stay Night - very sad last couple of episodes and ending as well. Even cried on it. Chaos;Head - almost all of the episodes where depressing and dark, untill the ending. Angel Beats! - Hard times, and depresion defined it to the very end. |

| Gunslinger Girl (Il Teatrino) realy enjoyed it and yes i enjoyed the ending (for various reasons not because this was how it should end, well actualy it did but i dunno i guess i get what they where trying to achieve) the ending and realy was sad |
| Clannad: After Story Gantz was depressing enough :/ Fate/stay night<---- for the love of god... the last episode, some one delete it from history T_T Green Green<---- also a depressing end :/ Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora<--- happy end, but the whole anime wasn't that cheerful Kurokami<---- again someone delete the end Sola<----above statement Tokyo Magnitude 8.0<--- this whole anime was depressing Voices of a Distant Star<--- T_T |
