That surely... didn't really feel like the last episode. Open end.
I headdesked and laught at myself that I got trolled just like Amars with that Amamizukan. lol, they mistook the place.
INARI IS IN LOVE! XDDD the scene with flower was big LOL! "He loves me, he hates me, he loves me, he hat... ... ... GET ME ONE MORE!"
I love Shu/Inari now, seriously :D
LOL @ the uncle, too. And at Inari leaving while Chieko's mom came back. And she looks exactly like Chieko herself, lmao.
I loved the photo Banba-san took. And the reaction of that girl. AFRO! And then she kept fangirling it. She really loves afros. lol
Everyone loved Tsukimi's dress, haha <3 lol at how they came up with the brand's name on the stage. "- *whispers* What is jellyfish in english? - Eh? Jellyfish. - OK she said that."
Kuranosuke was so cute with his "confession"! "Wait, what am I saying?", lol, he's so funny. By the way, Tsukimi should just get used to seeing him as a guy. XD

Sigh, I feel sad now that the series ended. There's always manga, but still. Well, I look forward for Hourou Musuko for now.
By the way, even though the episode 10 made me go little tsundere on the anime (I wasn't quite alright with messing up the manga's storyline), but the last episode was really nice, so I keep 10/10 :> one of my favourites, if not my favourite in 2010.

Edit - It felt like an end to me. I really liked it. I can't wait till the specials. I really want the romance, though, to be wrapped up in the specials... or a second season? :D

I also want to see their brand "Jellyfish" go famous.

Wow, that certainly didn't feel like a final episode. Well, it was very open ended, but hey, it was still a fun episode.

I do wish I could see what would happen with a few more episodes, but I guess we won't know for sure unless we get a season two.

well, at least we know that the house is safe for now. And the one manipulating Shuu has actually got on a crush on him now. I wonder if there will be a legitimate relationship between them in the future.

Gahh, season two announcement hopefully. need to know more ! :x

We watched it in Fuji TV while it was airing, duh. You can watch Japanese TV with some applications, like KeyHole TV.
I found a RAW online, though, and downloaded it. Now I'm rewatching the episode again.
Pffft, Chieko's mom has Bae's photos sticked to her luggage.
I wonder why rips of Funi subs aren't out yet. Shiki is out for a while already, so why isn't Kuragehime?

Yeah I have no idea, Kuragehime is supposed to be subbed a few hours earlier on Funi's site than Shiki but it's still not out today and there's no word about it.

After having watched the series I have to admit that the best part for me was probably the OP sequence. Sure there were gags but altogether the series is bland with not much character development.

Tsukimi's final lines ("I'm sure I'll have more wonderful adventures" or something like it) and Clara adding "That's right!" strongly imply we'll get a follow-up, and with an ending like this they absolutely have to!

Which was my only problem with the episode, even if they're going to follow up on it, this didn't feel like an ending at all, just your average Kuragehime. Of course 'your average Kuragehime' is brilliant so it was still a great episode and overall a great series. I'm a tad disappointed it seems it will turn out to be Shuu/Inari and Kuranosuke/Tsukimi while I had really hoped for Shuu/Tsukimi, but overall this has been a great, funny show and definitely this season's best.

Hmmm. Well, it wasn't a bad ending, but it kinda just felt like "problem instantly solved!" instead of a good solid conclusion. I don't really feel like there necessarily needs to be a whole 2nd season (although I wouldn't object!), but I'd like to see some sort of epilogue special to see what happens to everyone. Overall, absolutely loved the series, lived up perfectly to the noitaminA name. 9/10

Funi has uploaded it on youtube, but for some reason it's not on their page. You can only find it by directly searching for it...

Anyway, I was pretty satisfied with the ending. It was JUST open-ended enough that it can hold out on its own, without making us die waiting for a second season. I do hope it gets one, though!

By the way, the scene where Kuranosuke said they have the same destiny was the cutest scene ever. <3 <3 I loved how embarrassed he got, too. XD It made me pretty happy that they managed to squeeze one more Tsukimi x Kura scene in before it ended. <3 Tsukimi specifically remembering Kura's hand in hers was pretty adorable, too. God I'm going to miss this series. It was so hilarious and cute the entire way through. <3

Too rushed...and lost some steam along the way, from interesting josei to generic shoujo in the end. Solid series though.

8/10

I really enjoyed this anime as a whole, but that ending was horribly rushed. If this doesn't get a second season, it will make this a very disappointing series.

I love this show :D It needs a second season badly!
I enjoyed each episode, so it's sad that it ended already.. But this last episode didn't feel like the final at all. Too many things were left unsaid and not explained. I haven't read the manga but i might if there will be no second season.
Anyway, I really liked this show and i hope there will be more Kuragehime in the future :)

Best be second season!
I refuse to believe there is such a thing as an anime with crossdressing in it where the big secret is not revealed!

Seriously though, there can't not be one, or I will commit seppuku. Chieko can be my second.

Finally seen this and I have to agree that they rushed things a bit but it was still a fun episode and a great feelgood finish to the series.

That said I believe there is still plenty of room for a second series since the Tsukimi-Shu-Kuranosuke love triangle needs to be resolved as does the subplot with the Inari which seems to be taking a new direction.

One of my top 3 shows of 2010 and fingers crossed for second run!

That ending left me really unfulfilled, which I hope is a good thing because this definitely needs more time and development.

As for the show, funny, delightful and cute is how I'd describe it. And it had some outstanding music, especially for the OP & ED themes. I could recommend this show to a lot of people.

Gah!! This needs a second season!! The last episode doesn't feel like a last episode at all. But, it was a pretty good final episode. Whoa, never expected that Sara person to appear again, she really like afro's. And the fashion show was awesome, Kuranosuke really looked good in that dress, and Tsukimi too!Really, really, really going to miss it. 10/10. And I'm waiting for the specials.

That didn't feel like an ending to me at all. I didn't think that anything would happen between Kuranosuke and Tsukimi because there just wasn't enough on Tsukimi's side beforehand. Amazingly, Inari didn't annoy me to death in this last episode. She was actually kind of cute the way she was about her crush. And we finally got to see Chieko's mother!

Anyways, This really is kicking and screaming for a second season. I hope we get it.

The series was wonderful and I enjoyed every second. I think it would be very sad if they didn't continue this series because it was so unique and way better than some of the crap out there that runs on and on forever. I just hope there is more in the future for Kuragehime.

While the fate of the building was determined rather conveniently, the rest of the episode didn't feel rushed at all to me. The crisis was averted but there's still so much more they can do with Kura x Tsukimi and Shu x Inari. Second seasons are never a given - especially with this genre - but I'd kill for one here. Thanks for one of the best shows this year and for time well spent.

I almost missed this anime because it didn't catch my eye at first. I'm glad that I saw a review and tried watching it. It was unique and I really enjoyed it. OP and ED were great too.

Check out Hulu.com, that's where I found it.

As for the end...lame..thank goodness for the manga. If they don't announce a second season I would wonder why they bothered making an anime at all since nothing was tied up at all in the first season here...

It's on Hulu for those of you who haven't seen it.

Definitely second season worthy. The ending of the anime always gets to me because it brings me the nostlagia of when I used to watch Naruto on Toonami because the song is made by the same people who made the song on Naruto. This anime is sweet and definitely the anime of the year. It was slightly predictable, but rarely dragged. It got its mission accomplished in 11 episodes and was solid all the way through.

I *loved* every minute of this show! Well, I don't like the vixen Shouko; and I think Shuu us far too good for her, but strangely, I'm starting to find the two of them cute together? :/

My favourite show - and ED - of the season. The show's begging for a second season, though.

Lol same here. I don't know how I'm going to past my week now that all of my 'watching' animes are now 'completed' *sigh*. I also had to trawl the web to find episode 11 as I couldn't find it on my regular site :(.

Anywho, Inari, of course, made me laugh with the flower scene and Chieko's look-a-like for a mother was chuckle-worthy. I'm not sure if I liked the ending although I didn't mind it. I'm willing to hope that they left it so open-ended because they're gearing up for a season 2??? I loved this series, the characters were believable and likable, the pacing of the story was really good and the OP and ED songs were fun to sing along to. I'm so sorry to see it come to such a quick end :(

Added to my favourites for sure!

I was intrigued by this series early on, when I thought the 30 year old virgin was the romantic lead. I thought, "Well, that's something different!" Of course, I was wrong and the show turned into yet another story about a shy, awkward girl rescued by a handsome, popular, yet angsty prince. I've seen and read that so many times I could scream. Disappointing.

Still, it was a cute and entertaining show, it just didn't seem that special to me.

I was a bit alarmed at how much stuff was being crammed into this episode but the open ending made up for it. While I would like a second season, I'm content to read the manga for time being. I really ended up enjoying Tsukimi as a character quite a bit. I'm interested in seeing how else her character can grow. 7/10 for me because of the overall incomplete feel.

As much as I enjoyed this show, I was quite disappointed with how it just ends, with no real resolution to most of the ongoing plotlines. A second season better appear later, or I will be disappointed.

Also, I think this show had the best OP and ED combo this season, definantly some good music there.
