| Rikako tunes the L-type used by the Devil Z. The only special part Kitami mentions is the crank shaft. Shima has crashed the Blackbird, it's going to need a major makeover before the next race. |

| The secret about the Z is finally revealed, and it turns out to be anticlimactic, except for one thing. The entirety of the Devil Z uses normal parts, except for the crankshaft, something so simple changed a Z to the revered Devil Z that everyone knows and fears. If you don't believe in ghost stories regarding how the car was possessed by its dead former drivers, then this is your explaination. The biggest takeaway of this penultimate episode is this... The Devil Z is refreshed and so it's up and running better than before with a lower center of gravity, whereas while the Blackbird got into an accident, the upgrades it's about to receive will make it the best version of the Blackbird. They're both ready to battle it out again, but they both know that sooner or later, they will see their speedometer reach 300 KM/hr for the last time in their respective car. Also, it's pretty surprising that Shima chased the Z wishing that he was the one chosen to be its driver. |

| Tatsu is in his thoughts, very confused so much that he crashes into a pole avoiding a Taxi and two drunk pedestrians. Instead of backing out and leaving the car scene like Kei, Tatsu is dead set on getting his 911 faster and decides to finally do weight reduction by substituting his panels with carbon fiber. His doctor salary should be enough to afford a fully carbon fiber 911; He's doing all this under the books before the next car inspection is due. |
