| Man, all I could think about during the beginning of the episode was why is Shuurei's father was that legendary assassin who could kill anyone and everyone without making a sound; why didn't he at least teach his own daughter the fundamentals of self defense? Why doesn't she carry even the tiniest of daggers that could have undone the ropes? Really, if I was as badassed as he was with my own secret legion of assassins at my beck-and-call my whole family would be the shit. Anyways all the old men need to die. And the kiss was win ^^ ~ |

| Ugh, the one thing that bothered me throughout this episode and the last was how Shurei didn't make any noises to alert Ryuki of where she was. Closing one's mouth does suddenly silence one's vocal chords, and only a piece of cloth covered her mouth - the entire scene was so contrived I wanted to bang my head against the wall. And with the acoustics of the room they were in, I'm certain he would have been able to hear her. ARGH. Man, it took me a bit to follow what was going on and gauge everyone's ambitions. Fucking Sho, the chessmaster. And what was that he said to Advisor Sa? That the man has dignity because he couldn't harm a woman (unlike himself)? Wasn't that what Sa was trying to do to Shurei by having Korin poison her? Even if it wasn't deadly, like Sho's poison, it's still poison. :? The kiss was cute, at least. |

Not even that, she has so many things in her hair, she couldn't banged it against the pole and he would be able to hear that as well. But at least her hair piece fell onto the ground, and in the end it didn't matter since he already knew that Shuurei wasn't downstairs. Nice one Ryuuki! |

| Wow what a episode!! While i wished the fight scenes are longer, it's still good :) So Kouyuu was taken in by Shuuei as well huh! Interesting info! I never knew Adviso Sho would go as far as to poison Shuurei just so Ryuuki would assume as the King of Saiunkoku. He even proved Adisor Sha to reveal his true colors to him. Of couese Shouka is mad as hell at him. Why is Sho so obsessed on serving the king O___O So Shusui was used against her will? It was funny to see Shouka laughing with Shusui :D Guess their the only ones left at the black wolf clan? Though i don't understand on how Sho became young when he met Sha? Is it super natural power or something O__O Guess they were really close for 50 years. It's a shame Sha grew angry at him over the years. And they were only playing cards a few episodes ago : Looks like Shuurei and Seiran are leaving for now. Seems Kourin can't face them due to her consequence. Lol everyone is mad at advisor Sho XD That Ryuuki!! such a sly bastard!! Still pretty good kiss! Didn't expect that huh Shuurei?? :P Lol what does Shouka think of this!! Love the episode! Though i wonder how the story will fold out?? Their still 32 episodes left + Season 2 so plenty of story to cover :) Can't wait for more! |

| Looks like this was an end of an arc. Everyone in the court has two faces, hiding their motivations and true nature, and with all these revelations it was a bit confusing at times. It's also turning out to be a story about a generational gap. The older generation is scheming to gain power themselves or to make the younger generation better, and maybe their methods didn't seem entirely believable, especially an advisor letting bad things happen just so that the emperor would step up to his role. Nonetheless fascinating. |
