| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well the forever-in-bloom Sakura tree is back for its third run. The only interesting thing about this episode was that it started with a cultural festival right off the bat but everything else was so-so and pretty much standard cliche. More importantly, I wonder what the Sakura tree's role in this version of Da Capo is going to be (i.e. what's the conflict this time around). So, I'm looking forward to the next episode to hopefully find out. |

| I hear the game was really good, so i hope this translate to a good adaptation. As for the episode, i thought it was alright, none of the characters really appeal to me except Nanaka (seems like a trend this season). With that said, despite what happend this episode and what i think will happen, I really want them to go towards a Nanaka ending. It needs reedemtion since Kotori got shafted in the first one. |

| Poor Kotori. I hope they do go with Nanaka. Anyway I was disappointed with the animation for Da Capo II. It doesn't look as good as the first series at all and you'd expect it to be better but I guess it's to be expected since it's being handled by a different animation production. The episode itself wasn't bad but was expecting better. BTW the current animation production "Feel" was cooperating on the first series but ZEXCS was the main animation production for it. |

| uh sakaru is now school principal lol and instead a cat utamaru now there is a dog zannen unyaaa~~~ uh and what is suginami still doing there XD and it was imo surprising that there is a confession in the 1st epi but duno i just didnt like the new chars i want to stick with the old ones ^^ |

| lol People keep joking about a nice boat with that early confession... It's been over 50 years. Utamaru's probably buried somewhere in Sakura's place T_T Haven't heard much of Nanaka yet. But I think she's supposed to be more outgoing than Kotori. So I don't know if I should root for her. So, what? Are they all living at Sakura's place? They didn't inheirt that pretty awesome place that their grandparents owned? Hm, actually, I think I heard that Junichi was alive in the game. Not quite sure. But it's not like he (or any old characters besides Sakura) will make an appearance. |

If it's not his grandson, it's the original himself :P He did actually contact aliens that one time in Da Capo (or was it DCSS?). Or he's like Sakura! Plot twist! |
| It could be but it is most likely his grandson. That type of twist though wouldn't surprise me. |

| hm.. bit weird... this series.. starts off with same chara..and undying Sakura tree.. return??? i thought.. on d.C.S.S sakura tree.. i thought..will never resurection again.. Suginami... after 53 years though... Mizukoshi hakase.. ( Mako ).. Yoshino Sakura - after 53 years.. she still like that...because she wizard ?? >.< Yoshiyuki-kun : have same abilities with... Jyunichi... Shirakawa Nanaka.. : popular idol in Kazami gakuen.. same like Kotori before.. he..... and same abilities like Kotori...weird >.< Amakase Minatsu : same family name with.. Miharu?????? Hope.. this anime will be great.. |

| So very familiar faces and peple. Sakura is still around and there is a Kotori as well. Suginami is also still the same or maybe his son? Not sure yet. I would love it if those three girls would hook up with the three dudes along the way, but it's still harem and she's his childhood friend, so I won't hold my breath... |
| Damn, this is set 50+ years since Da Capo? Sakura has become an immortal huh she looks better now. I thought that's Kotori, however she's Kotori's granddaughter from Junichi? Well, I'm glad to know he cheated on Nemu eventually. He probably realized how toxic it is to be with her. lol |
