| Largely a homage to the 1951 Disney film Alice in Wonderland (rather than the original book per se) with several recognizable characters designs and pieces of imagery. The most clever part is probably the riddle about the clock nicely matching the absurdity of the riddle about the raven and the writing table from the original. Lots of neat visuals in this one besides. |

| The queen of hearts was the queen of golf LOL But it made me sad seeing Lum devastated because she thought Ataru died :( Thank heavens that it ended with a the usual "chaotic" happy ending :) |
| The clock that loses a minute a day is trackable; if you know what day it is then you know exactly how many minutes it is behind. The broken clock can't be corrected for, therefore it is the inferior clock! |

| Nice animation in this one, though not as much Ran as I had been hoping for. My favorite thing was the Japanese Queen of Hearts and the Hanafuda cards replacing Western playing cards. |

| Bruh. What the heck was Ran doing at the beginning of the episode? Lmao. This episode was just so weird and surreal. I didn't have to look it up to know that this was directed by Oshii. The other dimension was bizarre as it should be. But a lot of the things in the second half seem to be references to a bunch of different things. I don't think I recognized most of them which made it a bit meaningless for me. But it was still a good episode. It just showed how much Lum cared about her Darling. |
