I couldn't help the fact that Taneda looks like the actor Toshirō Mifune. Maybe the character design is based on him because of his samurai roles. |
| Sorry, but this OVA was pretty lame for my point of view, and that's because the fifth OVA was SUPERB and this has too much difference from the others, too mythological and so few problems of humanity or health. |
| See, but that's the thing about the Black Jack OVA, every episode is so masterful that one such as this, which is merely great, seems weak in comparison. Thankfully I've been watching like one episode a month, so I'm pretty much comparing it to everything else I'm currently watching. By that metric, I'd say that each episode is like a bolt from heaven! (including this one) |

| This one was a bit more fantastical that the rest, but still it was very good. Like everyone said everything pales in comparison to episode 5. |

| At first, I wasn't buying the supernatural touch but it ended up being a pretty fantasy/fantastic (in the classical sense) story. This might be primarily seen as a medical thriller/suspense series but this was a needed (if slight) break from it. In the end, it was still very reliant on the past, like always. 4/5 anime_daisuki said: I couldn't help the fact that Taneda looks like the actor Toshirô Mifune. I thought it was only my impression because I recently re-watched the "Castle of the Spider". Thanks for confirming. |

| 2 years and tomorrow? That's next level of lateness Also accurate description of post-office. Your packages always late and sometimes lost who knows where xD I thought this anime is about scientific things But apparently there are a lot of supernatural sprinkles all over it What a very weird episode I guess they're reunited in another life only to be separated again |

| God do I love feudal Japan historical drama! Be it from the Heian period all the way to the late sengoku, it's awesome! Liked how explicit they were with the supernatural formula. Helps change the pace a bit. |

| I like how versatile this anime is, one episode we get 90s Japan and the next we get feudal Era Japan. The storyline works like a short stories format but I'm loving it so far, this one was the best so far imo |
