| Some things are just harder to execute than it looks. I mean, Sae should've known but trying to get her feelings across to Kouki was never going to be easy. Felt like this episode was just creating obstacles for her. The typical school drama but this was still light in nature. Looks like the class managed to make something wonderful together for the exhibition. |

| Looks like Subaru pushed herself to far. And Kouki realises a rival appears but doesn't realise he still has a chance. Ayukawa's feeling where clear since a few episodes ago but Sea doesn't seem to realise them. She also needs to make her feelings clear but it to afraid to do so. Guess next episode will be hectic. |

| With the song request decided, and Izawa's pride pretty much filled like his ego to ward off his confession to Hisui and Mio's complaints about him, Sae is just there being Koki's support...and putting her confession to him on hold for pretty much a fear that she's never experienced before. Still, the two helping out each other like close friends, and the rest of their class at it too with the space hijinks thanks to Ayukawa being the capable one instead of Izawa, but Sae not yet having a chance to work with Koku, forces both Hisui and Mio to get creative on the role matchup. As the school festival approaches, Sae and Koki having 30 mins to themselves, though Ayukawa relents Koki on knowing what Sae likes for a side drive, the class effort on mimicking the space theme with their blackout curtains, isn't working so well initially, that everyone doing double time on making their effect work, it finally gives a sense of realism for a hard work done right. However, Sakura being angry that her brother thinks that he is not the one that Sae likes, and not to mention the near tragedy in school...rumors sure can fly fast. I pray that they can get the school festival up and running at this point... |

| Sae, girl I love you, but can we PLEASE stop assuming Kouki’s love interest is his COUSIN??! It was funny for like one episode, but now it’s just weird 😭 like of all the girls to be worried about, you really think he’d knowingly date his own cousin that goes to the same school?? I get they’re trying to stir up some of that good old fashioned shoujo romance drama to put pressure on Sae to confess but cmon! Speaking of pressure, my boy Ayukawa is going all gas no breaks at this point. He’s awkward and shy, but in his own way he’s trying to make it very obvious to Sae he likes her. My confession is I really like he and Sae’s dynamic. There’s something way more interesting to me about two socially awkward people like this getting together. Of course, he never really had a shot which is unfortunate, but I love every interaction between he and Sae. The way she kinda falters a bit every time he touches or looks at her because she likes feeling wanted is so cute. Can’t forget how sweet it was of him to come running after her when he found out she was going to a ghetto supermarket lmao. Poor dude doesn’t know that Sae doesn’t care about particular food or treats, it’s just anything from Kamishiro that makes her eyes light up because she loves him :/ can’t wait to see how their reception duty date goes next week. Sae’s eyes lighting up like it was an aquarium date or something because spending any amount of time with Kamishiro means the world to her.. so cute! |

Ayukawa doesn’t waste any time. he’s already starting to realize he likes Iwata and wants to know more about her, moving things forward. Now a misunderstanding has arisen because Kamishiro thinks that Iwata likes Ayukawa. Ayukawa is a really great guy, but knowing how this is going to play out, it’s obvious she’ll end up with Kamishiro. I just hope Ayukawa finds happiness too, since he’s turning out to be such a good character. I had noticed before, but this anime season is full of cool protagonist friends who suddenly develop feelings for the female lead: Aida in Kimi to Koete, Hashiba in Yano-kun, and Ayukawa here. And even more coincidentally, Hashiba and Ayukawa share the same voice actor lol. |

| I cant believe Ayukawa is meant to be lanky and unpopular when he literally looks better than Kamishiro and he doesnt even look that skinny. ayukawa more mature and bold imo. i think he would just confess on the spot as soon as he realizes he likes sae. he prob hasnt realized it but soon he will and trust me after realizing it the next thing he would do is confess. he fr not gonna drag it out and be scared of the consequences. Her having the chance to talk to Kamishiro when they were painting together, but being too shy to say much and then when it was over and they couldnt get another chance to talk, she started complaining saying they never get the chance to speak. I find this so so real😭 cuz you keep begging for an opportunity but then when it finally arises, you freeze up/it feels too short/it passes too quickly. |
| Man you know above all else I honestly feel bad for Kouki, he obviously loves Sae but I mean I imagine he's worried confessing which obviously is natural but through all of this he has to see her constantly getting along with Ayukawa and I mean its blatantly obvious Ayukawa likes Sae. But I mean hell at least props for making a half decent character to put into a love triangle I don't find Ayukawa one bit annoying. I suppose Sae does kinda have to deal with that as well with Kouki's cousin but I mean its pretty clear neither of them like eachother romantically, that mostly comes from just schoolkids being schoolkids and starting bs rumours which I mean naturally she's gonna overthink the situation by that point. Aka they just need to frickin confess already. Also above all else I really hope the anime dedicates a portion of time towards Sui and Mio giving them more character and maybe even finding them a love interest each. Especially Sui she's so sweet and kind |

I think the scene where Ayukawa asks what Sae's favourite things are was hitting the hammer on the head for me, cause how is the only fucking thing Kamishiro thinks she likes is food... He's starting to piss me off. |

| Loved the episode, kind of a heavy one, though. First, Kouki seems to think that Yota likes Sae, which makes Kouki jealous. On the other hand, after what Sae saw in the pre-ending scene, Kouki carrying Subaru to the infirmary, she ends up getting jealous too. Putting Yota, Kouki, and Subaru aside, I have to point out how adorable the creature Hisui is. Her voice actress is outstanding, perfectly capturing the character's cuteness. Same goes for Mio, who may seem plain and boring at first, but is actually SUPER COOL. Hisui is adorable, but she makes Sae nervous and anxious by constantly telling her to hurry and do this or that. It’s all meant to help Sae, I get it, and I love Hisui. Mio, on the other hand, never forces Sae and always supports her in whatever she does or wants, which is super cool of her. |

| Ayukawa is so endearing to me omg..... Asking what Sae likes and giving her something. He's so cute??? It's kind of funny how Kamishiro and Ayukawa's care towards Sae showed in different ways in this ep. Kamishiro got very busy trying to take the load that others might give Sae, while Ayukawa was looking at Sae and being with her when he can. Sae was the one who initiated to have more time with Kamishiro, but that is thanks to her friends urging actually. That duo picture was good though, thanks Sui-chan. Also, Mio!!! Now on first name basis, so cute. Kagawa really worked hard leading the class. Btw I love the 2 scenes of the very extra rock-paper-scissors final round, and the slow reveal of their class winning the curtains. HAHA Even if Ayukawa gets rejected or not, they should all still visit his hometown just the same! (self-serving me wanting more ayukawa screentime lol). I also don't understand the in-universe standard of popularity, because Ayukawa's character design is good. He's handsome, tall, has a mature vibe and good at school??? Is the studentry not seeing this guy? The author is really making us see his good points to make our heart ache later on, huh. Not Subaru straightforwardly asking "are you sure it's not you that sae likes?" we need this since ep 1 w |
