| Perfect place for my complaining, everytime that happens in anime it gets thrown in and out like nothing, instead of teaching something about self-acceptance or whatever, mangakas like to draw big boobies but not write them in the story, as in a girl with small boobs starts being selfconcious and the next panel it gets ignored, damn it |

There are even guys which get turned of by saggy belly button ticklers or unnatural hard grapefruit shaped balls with straight perma pointy nipples. If you you have problems with how you are or how you look it is your mental thing. If you have small boobs you might consider staying thin so they stand out better and keep their good shape. If you are flat and bewcame fat, I mean yeah, that was your choice. Anime can have a few different purposes, but for sure non of them is teaching you anything about self awareness, selfconciousnes, or explaining to you that everything will be ok and that you are fine. (Alltough that last line is really common, but with a different meaning) Get an appointment with an psychiatrist, they are there for that reason. |

| Well, the trope only works if the girls with smaller breasts are jealous, and the reasoning is usually pretty stereotypical, and some might even call it sexist. The beauty of this trope is that it devotes an entire scene to talking about breasts (usually in swimwear or states of undress) and you get the best of both worlds. You get to appreciate the girls with large breasts, and the girls with smaller breasts are (obviously) still cute, and their jealousy/self-consciousness makes them appear more juvenile, and endearing in that sense. |
