| What a small world they live in. But seriously, it's good to see old friends catch up like Akihito with Gen. Seems Akihito enjoys camping outdoors too. The food this time is canned food so that's about as simple as it gets. |

| I was gonna say how nosey and messy akihito is, but lowkey without him, Shizuku and Gen might never get together. He knows Gen so well and understands that he can be an asshole and sourpuss, but he’s a really nice guy who just struggles to open up to people. Gen needs someone like akihito who’s more of an introvert, to show him how to open up. He’s a great wingman and friend, even if he ruffles a few feathers from time to time Distance makes the heart grow fonder as they say, and Gen FINALLY realizing how much he enjoys spending time with Shizuku and misses her was so cute. Bro still trying to deny it tho, it’s ok to enjoy spending time with a cute girl I promise ๐ can’t wait to see them link back up next week after spending a week apart and realizing how they feel. |

| A canned feast can be nice too. Gen had some time for himself where he could enjoy some actual solo camping again. But stop being so Tsun and admit that you enjoy camping with Shizuku as well ffs xD Movie reference cope is next level, lmao. Oh well, tough love will do for now. For some reason I figured Mizuki was swinging both ways. Good episode overall, was also nice seeing flashbacks of Gen and Akihito going to school. |

| I though Gen might get a belly ache from all those salty canned foods. Shizuku, The Drastic Remedy. Heading out of winter season camping; it is time for a camping fashion campaign, Shizuku. Each, trip as it warms up, dress a increment lighter, skimpier, and sexier. Culminate the strategy with beach camping and a killer bikini bod. I cannot guarantee it will win Gen-san, but it will do me a lot of good. |

| One of the best camping anime out there—if not the best! Seriously underrated just because of a silly fan service scene in the first episode!! It's incredibly fun and truly a quality anime in the slice-of-life genre. It's a shame this gem didn’t get the same attention as other camping anime! At least we’re lucky it’s getting 24 episodes… As for my thoughts on the episode—Shizuku and Gin's relationship has grown a lot throughout the anime! But believe it or not… I’m super excited about Akihito and Saya! ๐ I feel like they’re going to be a powerful duo that shakes things up! Also really looking forward to the segment on fire-starting techniques! I seriously need that knowledge in real life… ugh. See you all next week with our heroes Shizuku and Gen! Bye for now. |

| It's been a long time since I've gotten bisexual characters, like Mizuki, but overall the episode is great, although the 6am call made me laugh, calling at the very early hours and yelling into the phone that he's going to teach her a thing or two now. |

| So Gen is finally realizing that he actually doesn't mind camping with Shizuku, I mean I can't blame him considering how cute she looks and she can cook too. On that note maybe Shizuku's friend and Akihito can join for a group camping event, I can see that happening later on. That phone call at 6 am was pretty funny, Shizuku didn't even realize who it was until after he hung up, when she fully wakes up she'll think she was dreaming until she sees her phone call history haha. |

| I don't see the appeal of Gen's solo camping experience. He just buys a shitload of canned foods. Heats them up right next to the dinning area of some random camp. Sits there all night eating like a pig. Wakes up and eats the rest like a pig too. What's the point of doing an outdoor activity if all he's going to do is just sit his ass down and eat like a warthog? He could have done the same thing outside the 7/Eleven where he bought those. Some of the closeup shots of his hotpot felt like a blatant ad for Soto outdoor cookware.  Meanwhile in Yuru camp there was a lot of walking around experiencing the whole scenery (specially camping mecas), even using small boats to navigate thru small lakes and even night sight seeing. The whole experience of ridding on motorcycle or by train/bus was also a huge part of the experience. |

| @WatchTillTandava Considering she's a tomboy with multi-colored hair, I'm surprised they listed her as bisexual and not a stock horny butch lesbian (which anime sometimes does even more often than western media). Another question is, is it just me or is Kusano just finding out about this only now? |

| Nice episode of examining Gen's feelings on Shizuku coming with him on his Solo camping. This new guy added some needed perspective for Shizuku so now she won't feel as guilty solo camping with Gen. Her friend had the total hots for that new guy. All he had to do was say the word and she definitely would've gone home with him. Can't say I'd be a big fan of a bunch of canned food. I'm sure it's all loaded with sodium. But it did look pretty convenient. I'm sure we'll learn more about Gen's dad as time goes on, his death seemed to really affect how Gen interacts with people. He tries to avoid people, but in reality, he needs the company of others to start healing. |

| The night of the "best" pals between Gen and Akihito to discuss about the former's camping schedule and how he tries to fit to Shizuku's, the former can be a prick when selectively choosing things that would suit his solo camping, and the latter being the same when it comes to supporting his camping friend. And the one time for solo camping for Gen being infested by the glories of canned food, it's his definition of alone-time solo camping. Akihito's surprise by Shizuku calling him out of the blue alongside her two friends for a night, he's at least flexible doing solo camping, Meetups style, though with a group of girls that he's more than willing to, except Shizuku (whom she belongs wholly to Gen alone). From a different perspective, Shizuku gets Akihito's reassurance that Gen's reason for solo camping, though on the extreme side, the harbinger of change coming from her shapes Gen's life, even if he doesn't admit it. This stems from their long friendship from school, and it's fair to say that with persistence, he folds slowly, as is his only realization that he's unknowingly changing and thinking that it's all by his own efforts. Gen, your 34-year-old self won't admit you've got the good vibes camping with Shizuku, but time will make that connection form. |
