Yuina, the story of her life.

I have to admit, the way they pulled off this episode is quite interesting to see. Whatever the case, her life being a standalone-like episode caught me by surprise, especially this late in the season.

I thought Yuina would be the first one who regain her memory, but actually, she was the last one. lmao.....

@Reecey91 i mean, she's the last one to join?... Because she's the last one to join, she's aware enough that they will forget about it then she use photos to connect with each others. She didn't make that envelope without purposes, even if she didn't say it. It's her intuition to make that:D

The way they’ve turned this series around and made me fall in love with it over the last month and a half or so is crazy. I need this project to continue in other media forms. My girls finally got their memories back and now I only got one more episode left with them 😭

I can’t even bring myself to really hate Eiko anymore. She’s just a very broken individual herself with a lot of issues. Handled this situation poorly, but she’s a scared kid herself. Notice how Eiko’s version of the witch cafe is dark and desolate just like she is on the inside. Her witch form design and methods also reflect her own emptiness. Instead of helping the girl confront her crush, she just enables her to run away, like she does from all her problems. The end of the episode ties into this as well when we see Eiko run from her mom and go back to the cafe.

I really love the dark gothic vibe of her outfit. So pretty!

Of course Yuina is the last to get her memories back because she’s the slowest 😂 but it’s sweet how even without their memories, the girls’ souls are connected and drew them back together. Even if the memories fade, the feelings won’t. Cracked up seeing them try to get Yuina to remember tho, even the witch couldn’t help but laugh. I love these girls sm man

How are they gonna win over Eiko next week? The finale is gonna be such an emotional one isn’t it.. 😢

Yes, this episode managed to surprise, Yuina, who remembered everything for a long time with the help of her friends, remembered for a very long time, and at the same time the new witch was teasing them and laughing, honestly when I heard the voices of the others I thought that the witch is a heroine from the future, but no they were just hiding and waiting for her to remember everything and yes, to say don't worry, don't worry and forget, it's not wish fulfillment, although the song was good.

I don't have much to say right now because the final episode will most likely be the deciding factor on whether I love or hate this series.
For now, I only came here to say that I found it funny how Choco was frozen in that pose in the background!

They must have been in a real time crunch to leave something like that in the final product!

I'm very intrigued by the direction this has taken over the last few episodes. I've been especially gripped by what's happened in the last 2 weeks especially. I do wonder how the final episode will play out, TBH as long as they get to keep their memories I'll be happy, even better if Eiko doesn't get away with it and stops being a witch.

This episode was pretty funny, Yuina is a riot and loved all the facial expressions that Choco did.

Essentially everyone but Yuina had the anime moment were they all gained their memories back through the power of friendship. Where Yuina had a more realistic reaction I suppose. But you can just sum it up to her being stupid.

But I suppose they found something more important then being witches.

The animation on Eiko's magic was pretty

@gorkthe134th I like to believe it was made on purpose because it's more funny this way

i was crying with them when yuina regained her memory lol. i think its so cute how yuina is the foundation for the girls' friendship. even after forgetting each other, they all found their way back through remembering things about her. yuina sadly thinks so lowly of herself, but to the rest of the girls she is everything. 🥹

It was definitely on purpose. Kyouka and Mai were also frozen in the frame before this one, when Azu was talking to Yuina without realizing she already regained her memories.

So it looks like next episode we'll likely be getting an Eiko redemption arc. I will say it was a bit convenient to suddenly have a senior witch show up to give the girls back their memory and get them into the shop though I suppose it would make sense that other witches exist out in the World so it is kind of nice to actually see one.

I'm actually surprised with this series. I like it way more than I thought I would. I kept watching expecting Kero to turn out to be some monster at the end.

For sure, Eiko's treatment is quite the story to pull off giving a false sense of hope with her gothic wear (it's giving me Ave Mujica feels at that), and to be honest, I don't mind her antagonistic story being the one that capitalizes much from giving people the "need" to care less about their circircumstances. What sets now is Yuina's everyday life doing the things she loves, but with a message that brings her back to another witch's place to sort her feelings out.

The same witch which Yuina encountered to pour her heart out, finds the other girls all in the same realm, all not wanting to forget about her. The lost memories of Yuina connecting from the same pictures she sent to the other Witch apprentices before they lost their memories, though she sure gave them quite the response thinking that she'd remember them too. And that wish to bring Yuina back to them, though only being able to fulfill with 4 people, somehow gets her memories back after quite the delay, which while being stupid, was quite the emotional reunion for the Maebashi witch apprentices to wish their way back to the shop...though only getting the things they truly need?

The make-or-break pivotal point of the show, now lies with Yuina and how she chooses to deal with Eiko.
I'm praying that the finale will impress...

@Martro122 I did notice Kyouka and Mai and I think that's also an animation mistake. Or rather, I believe it is unfinished.
It's possible they didn't have time to finish some of them and decided to leave all of them like that, but ultimately I think it's more likely that it was not their original intention.

What these girls really need is a sixth group member who will just say “let’s just stop Eiko permanently”, ie someone who thinks that killing her is their best option

I've usually found Yuina annoying, but the running gag this episode of her defying the tropes was pretty funny. Curious to see how it wraps up.

really loved this episode and the gag of her delayed reaction happening not once but twice was too good

if this show finally gets to a 7 rating i will finally start believing in the anime community again ...maybe
and then ending it with they just came to grab their stuff lol
