Welp, they pretty much went with an all out action episode with Takumi and his party defending the village.

Episode was pretty much the most expected way a fantasy anime like this would end but hey, they tried to go out with a bang on this. At least we know Takumi has a lot of people in his life he can trust.

Takumi getting help from not just Lion Fang, but Crimson Rose as well, the monster subjugation is only a matter of time.

The monster stampede extermination at Wedgefort seems manageable at first glance, but their retreat is something that becomes more nuanced, forcing Taumi and the rest to plan a strategy. While Sidonia readies itself with the heroes to lay waste to kingdoms affiliated with Barcula, Takumi going around to tend to the wounded and the vulnerable, it's his skin to prioritize everybody before his own and eliminate as many monsters as possible.

Once again, the monsters fall back, only to reveal its ringleader of a hydra-esque lizard that proves too much for Sofia to even handle, forcing Takumi to expend all of his mana just to save her. With tha work done, the unfortunate reality for Takumi to leave Wedgefort, only for the heroes to spiral to their egoistic killings in another part of the kingdom, it's only one tragedy after the other. And for Takumi, Sofia feeling down with the other girls cocercing him to make up with her...only sullies the girls when Akane interrupts their good mood. This is reality to Akane and Lulu, fo she know that she'll face the same heroes who rebut her eacn and everytime. To that with Goddess Nolyn, Takumi continuing his life as an alchemist would benefit all the more, with the fate in his hands when the time comes.

It's an alright show, nothing offensive but decent at best.

It was 4/5 for an Isekai, not too good, not too bad.

Glad to see that Takumi and everyone were able to defend the village from the monsters. Those "heroes" are just pure scum I really hope we get a second season to see them get what they deserve.

Sadly the last episode is also the worst episode. I don't have a problem with the adaptation, but the source material itself. Everything had been peaceful so far, even when the monster attack. But when the fallen heroes kill the innocent, I immediately give up on this anime.

And that’s a wrap. Another show that waited until the last couple episodes to get going with the story. Liked Mani and Akane a lot but it took forever to get into the hero’s story that was teased for ages and we still left off on a cliffhanger with them killing innocent civilians! I NEED to see them and the princess get destroyed, sigh.

Seeing Takumi go Kirito with the dual blades was dope, but I really hate that Sofia values her own life so little! Don't just needlessly put yourself in danger like that. It's funny that she and Takumi have a lot of the same personality quirks. Both are too selfless to their own detriment, no wonder it frustrates Sofia to see Takumi giving all the medicine to the villagers and putting his body on the line so much, it's literally what she does too! That " I want you to live and stay by my side forever" sounds like a proposal to me hehe. Too bad Akane had to butt in and ruin it haha.

"You could possibly be the greatest alchemist of all time!" They said the thing! Too bad we won't see Takumi and the rest of the group's journey to conclusion. Overall, show grew on me as it progressed. Certainly not a great show, but it was fun at times and I did like the girls. Might be inclined to read more later on. Solid 7/10.

Regardless of how the battle was, the fact that Takumi has still not matured from his enormous naivety is just something that I can't get over. Using all his potions on lightly wounded civilians when they have a major battle coming up, and then spouting some elementary school level nonsense was ridiculous.

Everyone teaming up to keep the town safe is such a great trope, and hey we got to meet a new party to help with that endeavor.

This show had some fun stuff like Takumi getting assassins sent to his door for creating toilets. The evolution of a spider to a spider girl, and Sci-Fing your neighborhood golem.

Maria's toilet metaphors will be missed. Here's to hoping for an eventual season 2!

The entire first half of the episode was basically still shots with speed lines and shaky cam but I can't stop thinking about the weird low quality shots where they awkwardly keep zooming out while reducing the opacity of the previous frame.

The show overall, I guess it wasn't the worst isekai/fantasy this season but just thinking that is a rather funny thought, that it filled pretty much all the check boxes for isekai/fantasy tropes and was genericity from start to finish but still being beaten in worst of the genre.

As for what I enjoyed, I guess some of the girls were kinda cute. I'd say I liked Maria the best but the show really gave Sophia the most screen time. But yea that's about all for me.

Show was ok, hit the standard tropes, but not quite as fun as others in this genre. 17 LN volumes and going at the time of this finale, so i’m wondering if they’ll do a season 2.

The episode was somewhat weak and the drama between Takumi and Sofia didn't even felt emotional.

Over the past few episodes the plot has started to downgrade and this episode didn't even felt the end of the season.

The heroes continues to do there unheroic work, not even sure if I should refer to them as hero anymore. Just couple of power drunks kids.

those two corrupt heroes needs to be taught a very severe lesson. hopefully the brainwashing spell gets removed soon & they'll agonize over their nasty deeds, unless they are rotten to the core to begin with, then there's really not much for them to antagonize from, but they do deserve a whopping case of karma poured down on them.

they left the season open for a possible second season, if it ever gets picked up. hopefully it does as i wanna see how they deal with this disaster waiting to happen.

I enjoyed the show. I hope they finish the storyline with another season, which seems doable. Fight the hero dicks and defeat Sidonia, then it’s done. Always wished MAL had 1/2 scores since I’d give it a 6.5 but I liked it more than a 6.

Man, that last episode was pretty weak. I was hoping for a little more drama with the episode title, but it was like "Nooo stop being reckless you could have died" and that's pretty much it. I was really hoping it wouldn't be like that... But it is what it is.

Can't really give the anime anything higher than a 5/10 overall. Its existence is inoffensive, but also the whole season really brought nothing new to the table for the Isekai genre and falls perfectly into "generic isekai" imo. I can't really see this getting another season tbh.
...Anyways, when's the next trash isekai coming out?

Lol so certain that this anime is getting a second season, Takumi never even sees the main antagonists from afar. Just an NPC monster horde battle of little consequence as a finale to a season that focuses more on making magic toilets. 5/10 for the show overall. Truly average at best.

My 5th Winter 2025 anime finished! Love how everyone was trying to get Takumi and Sophia together there at the end 🤣🙌🏻 no romance progress tho because of how wimpy and dense Takumi is unfortunately. Poor Sophia. It was annoying all those ruined Takumi tried to get rid of them. Such a great harem and Seiyuus 🙌🏻

Well, typical Isekai OP protagonist show- but at least it was entertaining. I personally like shows that are “light watching” in the same way some people enjoy “light reading” and this was one of them.

I’ve definitely seen better Isekai- but trust me, there are worse ones out there than this one.

Season ended on a satisfying enough note, but it left enough out there for the possibility of a season 2.

It’s worth a watch, but as I’ve said with other shows- it’s important to know what you’re getting into and gauge your expectations accordingly. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s “trash”, mainly because this one still had an enjoyable story to it.

Definitely more enjoyable than some of the other Isekai this season, and if a second season is greenlit, I’ll come back.

Good show to watch in between better shows, glad I picked this one up. One more show done from Winter 2025

Incredibly ~average~ show and probably won't leave a lasting impression.

Until this episode I thought the horse that pulls their portable Tardis was called Carmilla and I was then kind of disappointed she's not.

The slide show animation made it seem like they ran out of time or budget towards the end, and Sofia (the elf) pointlessly running out to get hurt was kind of silly but also inconsequential in the end.

Another interesting premise ruined by poor execution.
I wish it was more like Tensura and had good story, politics, world building and charismatic characters. Sadly, many characters in this show are bad. MC and his party have 0 chemistry. And we spend enough time with these characters to know them better, but somehow we know almost nothing. MC had some conflicts with his party, but they felt very artificial and forced and didn't change almost anything in the end. Though I liked Kaede, she was always cute and fun. Also Norn and Akane are pretty interesting.
Would watch second season because story made me curious enough. But this show could be much better, 7/10

So Sidonia didn’t have a key role in this episode whatsoever, outside of Nolyn’s vision coming true of Akira and Yamato becoming murderers instead of so called heroes. I respect Akane for having the courage to face them someday. If the problem is them being brainwashed, can it be undone with Purification Magic? If so, has Akane attempted to do that and if that’s the case, did she fail because her Purification Magic isn’t a high enough level or because it’s impossible to get rid of now?

We get to meet the Crimson Rose which consists of the leader Merilda, Baralai the Tank, Mary the Mage, Paula the Healer, and Linda the Scout. Outside of Lion’s Fang and The Wings of Nolyn, they are one of the top parties in the guild. So the three guilds took care of business, but it seems due to the hero summoning, these monsters have evolved and they’re using more strategy. The big boss came out and Sofia was extremely reckless due to wanting to protect Iruma, but luckily she didn’t die. The two talked and they were having a touching moment… UNTIL AKANE RUINED IT! Everybody, including Lulu, knew this. How oblivious could she really be.

Nolyn ends it off by paraphrasing the title of this series implying that Iruma could become the Greatest Alchemist of All Time. Iruma can become a GOAT in his own rights.

The door is definitely open for a Season 2, so we’ll see what happens next!

Well, I expected a lot from this story, but adaptation just sucked when they skipped a lot of things just to adapt things they want to show. The ending? this.

Either way, I kind of? probably, but only a little, enjoyed this series.

P.S. Manga was better by a landslide. Anime just gets voiced, and that's cool and all, But at the end of the day, adaptation like this usually ruins the chances of it getting a sequel—and that's a bad way of producing profits.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

They really went and introduced a hot all girls party in the last episode, and all the action with them was still shots lol, okay I guess. I think it was a decent finale tho, battle against the monsters was kinda lame animation wise besides the commanding monster which had pretty decent animation, Takumi’s killing blow was pretty sick tho. And it’s kinda sad that Akane had to sit out the monster brawl, all that buildup to her and she just sits in the mansion while everyone else fights lol, oh well, she did at least have that funny moment by interrupting Takumi and Sofia’s moment together. And the heroes just fucked off and killed a village of people, ain’t that a good place to end on lol, but at least Takumi is still enjoying his current life, ending on one last interaction with Nolyn is a decent way to end the show.

And that was the alchemy and toilets anime, I enjoyed myself but really I think this is an above average isekai, not bad but not great either. Biggest issue I have with this one besides the minimal animation is that the plot was built up over the course of the season, for it to ultimately add up to nothing, the heroes weren’t even part of the final conflict and Akane just kinda existed after she was saved, I enjoyed Takumi’s journey from the ground up to his game of catching waifus like Pokémon, but the plot left me unsatisfied despite it being a unique setup, I get it’s the typical read the LN bait thing but I’ve seen other LN shows do it better so you’re at least somewhat satisfied by the end.

But the reason I picked this anime in the first place was because of my girls DIALOGUE+ doing the OP, so was it worth it for that? Yes lol, same with harmoe’s ED which was also great, and I still enjoyed the show despite my complaints, so yeah I think it was worth my time. Would be nice if this could get a Season 2 to follow up the loose ends but this seems like one of those that will never get a continuation, hopefully I’m wrong because I would return for another, but we’ll see. And lastly, if I had to pick a best girl, gotta be Maria, I thought she was the most fun and I will miss her literal toilet humor lol.

Fun and enjoyable show.

I hope for a second season.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

The ending was disappointing, the whole point of replacing 3 years to 1 was to save Akane, then on this and should have ended season 1, because the 12 series turned out very badly, and how much material compared to the manga, was thrown out of the tv version, tired to list. I hope for a second season, but it's hard to believe.

@P-M12 I think you are incorrect. The princess suggested attacking an allied nation, so I think that was an allied nation's village. Takumi's initial village is within the nation he currently resides in, if I'm tracking correctly.

never liked it when MCs prioritize everyone else over their well-being. why use all your potions to help the non-critical injuries and just risk being killed yourself; it's an unnecessary risk for no upside because by virtue of takumi staying alive, he will help so many more people than those few potions he could have saved. little nitpicky, i guess.

I liked this better than the other 2 generic fantasy isekei this season. That last episode was way too rushed though, and the tease of the heroes but never actually getting to them was kind of annoying but I still liked the creativity of his powers compared to other similar shows, and the girls were for the most part unique and likable, not just the usual collection of tropes. Ah well, like the others I doubt we'll get any more of this so it was fun while it lasted.
