| Well, Kensuke-kun didn't take a good care of his lottery prize after all. This episode ended too abruptly. I would have liked to see him. That was disappointing. |

| This one was a bit unsettling, but not showing what happened to the kid at the end made it a bit unsatisfying, I know it’s pretty obvious what happened to him but I think showing it at least a little bit would have made for more of a bone chilling ending, oh well, at least I did really like the scene where the other kid hung the doll and used it turn a light off and on, my jaw dropped there because of the immediate implications lol, the maniacal laughter was an interesting touch too coming from a kid. And I’ll give the boy that died this, he did the usual smart thing by getting rid of the creepy doll, but this was unfortunately one of those instances where you’re supposed to listen to the creepy old lady lol. Not bad, just two more left as we inch closer to the spooky season. |
| I thought for sure they'd show the boy's body. I rewatched the end several times looking for it. His friend got too into using the doll as a light-pull but I didn't feel like he was trying to treat the doll poorly: he was trying to find a use for something he didn't want. What are you supposed to do with a doll like that anyways? Cat Report 11: It's hot, and she roamed around the room and the hall. If she'd been able to play with the doll, Kensuke-kun would have been mauled to death by a tiger. |

| I was expecting Kensuke kun to be hanging from a light post. Just to add... If I happen to receive a doll that looks exactly like me from a creepy old lady and was told that If you treat it good, good things happen or otherwise I would definitely surround that doll with many barbie dolls and play harem house with it. |

| I don't think it'd be wise and perhaps not allowed to show, what I imagine would be, a minor-aged individual hanging from a noose. They upload on Youtube sometimes too. Technically, this would be considered suicide, and such depictions are against Youtube policy. All that out of the way, now I don't think I'd be down to have a doll of myself. Who knows what could happen to it even if you fully intended to take good care of it? Stuff I try to take care of breaks all the time-- including myself! Then again, I guess in a way that's the point. You've gotta take care of yourself and not take weird risky detours with weird, risky games that win you weird, risky prizes. |
| Too chicken to show a hanging kid, huh Yami Shibai? Part of me feels like maybe don't tell this story if you're not going to be able to commit to it. While I usually like when Yami Shibai leaves it to the imagination, I've complained a lot about how relying on the visuals for the spooks is a terrible idea in Yami Shibai, this mostly just feels like a cop-out due to censorship fears rather than an intentional decision to allow our minds to fill in the blank. The visual of the kid hanging would've been in Yami Shibai's wheelhouse to do right, and it would've given this episode a much needed punch, because as it is, it feels rather lacking. Outside of that disappointment, the episode itself was fine. Set-up was good enough, and while it was obvious that Hiroshi was condemning Kensuke to hanging, felt like this was a nice usage of voodoo dolls for a short horror story. Hiroshi's laughing while using Kensuke as a light-pull was a bit too maniacal for my liking but beyond those no other real complaints. Wouldn't say I particularly liked this one, but I do suppose it does wind up as one of the better ones this season regardless. Stronger than the last two if nothing else. |

| i tried looking at the end by pausing and kept trying to look for several minutes where the "body" is but couldn't find anything. came here to learn they didn't even show it. |
