| Jump axed another good sports manga that had to rush to the ending. There hasn't been a mainstay spokon in Jump since Haikyuu. I thought maybe MMA and GGG could have taken that spot but the Jump audience didn't seem to care. Wish it had gotten a bit more chance. It sucks cause the author really improved from his previous work, beast children. Welp it is what it is. The editor note at the end says that there will be bonus illustrations with the final volume. Guess we won't get any epilogue or extra chapters then probably. But then again this was a really good manga that had good character writing. |
| It was a great series. It’s a shame that it’s getting axed, but I’ll make sure to keep up with this author’s next project. I just hope he doesn’t get discouraged from this |

| An open end, no timeskip and we won't be getting any bonus chapters in the volume release too afaik so no chance for an epilogue chapter either. Oh well we got some more Yaesaki x Nadeshiko for the final chapter. Gonna miss this a lot. Was really good and loved it. Sad it didn't last. WSJ should stop starting any sports manga at all or anything unique that doesn't suit their readers and keep publishing another 100 clone of the same copy pasta battle shounen. Fuck WSJ. |

| WSJ curse rears it's ugly head once again. GGG was really fun to read and I'm disappointed that we won't be able to see them all grow. I was expecting at least 50 chapters before it got axed. |

| It's an unbelievable shame that GGG didn't get the chance to be in Jump for a bit longer, but to be honest it was clear from the beginning that this would happen that GGG wouldn't even get 30 chapters. It felt like the author was addresing the words in the last 2 pages to himself. What's also a real shame is that the author had a lot of Ideas for the story with the offer to go to the USA and so on. |
| That bit about hard work and failure at the end was definitely the author making a sneaky little comment. Shame, this one was pretty nice, and way better than his previous attempt with Beast Children. |

| man, i know such slow burner series in sport genre at that didn't really fit WSJ, but man it was such pleasure to read. the last time we had anything close to this in shounen is baby steps. and man that one is one lucky motherfucker. this one sadly didn't. i wish he attempt something similar but in another platform, not highly competitive, fiercely adrenaline field one, especially not one with something as unpopular as golf. 8/10. one of better sports in recent years imho, just wrong place in wrong time. |

| Been getting caught up on jump series I had not finished and this is truly tragic. This had it all, the only complaint I had was it ended too soon. I hope the author gets another chance cause they were cooking something excellent here. |
