| Can't blame Einar too at this point tbh. I mean they were listening to Thorfinn and then that happened. But this will open the gates of a full-fledged war, which is what they wanted to avoid for the longest time, and came to Vinland. Damn. |

| man this is breaking my heart. it goes against everything i believe to give thorfinn some cop out happy ending but i will make an exception here. i will allow it so please :[ ahhh what a fantastic and heartbreaking story i think regardless of what happens, hild's words in 210 were the most important part of the ending. "you weren't wrong about anything. anything at all. so don't give up." even if it's hopeless, that didn't make thorfinn wrong. that didn't mean it wasn't worth fighting for. even if war will never stop and they will never escape it, it's still a dear philosophy that is worth giving your life for |
