I mean, I’ve seen some people argue that the popularity of the show is mostly due to hate watchers, which I disagree with, but even so, that wouldn’t explain the massive success of the manga. As weird as hate watchers may be, I guarantee the majority of them aren’t weird enough to consistently buy the physical volumes for a manga that they hate. So nah. Rent-a-Girlfriend is just popular. Pretty much this. It's entertaining AF and has high production value as well. Though people will ignore this fact and will say : BuT ItS CrINGE HOw cAN IT GeT ANOTHEr SEason, it'S ImPossible. Kazuyya is not a great MC at all, but what's the most cringe in reality , is people desperately trying to stay relevant and validate their comical life filled with cartoons by joining a hate-wagon with no semblance of thought put into the decision. |
