Best show of Winter 2023?
| So now that the season is almost over, what was the best show of Winter 2023? Personally for me, Onimai clears everythng on this season. Bit of a long poll I know. |

| Trigun Stampede. Onimai and My Life as Inukai-san's Dog also used to be my AOTS at some point, but Trigun was the most consistent. |

| Tomo-chan is a girl has been the most enjoyable watch for me but if Nier hadn’t been delayed and had released as many episodes as Tomo at this point then it might’ve taken the lead as it gets better and more interesting with each episode |

| Continuing series I'm watching: - Vinland Saga season 2 - Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro season 2 (just completed this yesterday) - By the Grace of the Gods season 2 New series: - Sugar Apple Fairy Tale - Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill - Hikari no Ou (The Fire Hunter) It's either going to be Vinland Saga season 2 or Hikari no Ou. Either of the two, it can probably be said, are easily the strongest of the series from a writing standpoint. Hikari no Ou is definitely the most daring and unique so far. However, I really can't judge between them yet as: 1. I'm only two episodes into Hikari no Ou as I started it late and haven't yet endeavored to catch up the past few weeks 2. I have a difficult time really knowing how to feel about Vinland Saga as a whole yet in general. The first season is an 8/10 for me and in my Top 50 series overall/of all time, but whether the series upon being completed, which I assume will be years in the future if it has an additional future season or seasons, goes up in my ranking and estimation, goes down, or stays about or exactly the same, is really impossible to know at this point. I can't tell where the story is going or how far along we are into it. I can't really tell what it's building toward character-wise and especially plot-wise in the long run. I don't know if the story is 10% of the way through, 50%, 90%, or something else. Before, I judged, rated, and ranked the first season representing the series as just a standalone entity, but now that there are at least two seasons and probably more in the future, it's more complicated and one of those things where it will be easier and clearer to only try judging the series as a whole after it's already over and concluded. |

| For me it is Handyman Saitou in Another World. And it also becomes one of my favorites. So sad that it ends soon. Still I hope that they announce second season after. Or I will read the manga then. |

| Hirogaru Sky! Precure, for some reason it's missing from the poll though. None of the other series I picked up ended up being particularly good and it seems unlikely that anything I left would end up being anything remarkable. |

| I haven't even checked out most of these shows, because I was not motivated enough to even start watching them. But I read what they were about and saw their trailers. To me, the best TV anime of Winter 2023 season was definitely Trigun Stampede. Stunning quality, original take on rebooting the series, good premise. |

AOTS goes to a slice of life fantasy about a Man cooking every episode, alongside his two familiars. Incredibly relaxing and Sui is best slime by a fair margin. |

| tomo chan has such great comedy I'd say it's the best one from the season nier on the other hand turned out a disappointment due to the constant delays |
