I always love it when Gin, Vodka and Vermouth make an appearance.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

A simple yet effective trick. The culprit had already come under suspicion when you see their wrist at 4:01.

Conan's face when he realized that it was Vermouth was awesome XD. I'm a bit curious on who she plans on killing though. Yusaku or Conan?

Was wondering where Akai was all this time. Thought he was going to come home with his Subaru disguise and ask "So, what did I miss?" or something. Looking forward to when they pick this back up.

事件は意外じゃないけど、優作の大作戦が意外で面白かったです。さすが、推理作家だね。
Notice: I read most manga in Japanese now so I'm not sure where you can read in English. Sorry in advance.

Ah, so I wasn't incorrect when it turned out not to be Kid after all. Though I wasn't expecting it to be Vermouth. It was kind of obvious at the beginning of the episode that the reporter was the culprit, but it was still an ingenious trick. The ending with the parents revealing their trick and plans leaves me very excited to see the next major arc. As Conan's father says, "To fool your enemies, you must first fool your friends".

OMG OMG OMG what was that plot twist at the end?!?!? Never in a million years would I have suspected Vermouth to have been involved!
I would have been perfectly content with this being just a normal team up between Conan an Kid. But this?!

Vermouth disguised herself as Yusaku and pretended to be Kid disguised as Yusaku?! No wonder Conan didn't suspect anything, just how many layers deeps does this go?!

The fact that Vermoth knows enough about Conan's parents, his relationship with Kid and probably even that he is Shinichi (don't remember anymore if she actually found out already or not) is super terrifying! :O

I do appreciate it though that she seems to have a soft spot for Conan and didn't end up killing him already ^^"

If I could give the episode 6 stars instead of 5, I would!

I hoped that they will continue with the next arc from the manga, which is a bit longer than the standard cases, but sadly we are getting yet another anime original trash.

I know it's for plot convenience but it does not make sense why they don't arrest Vermoth when they have a chance. And the motivation for three murders was really absurd as usual.

When there was a 3rd Yuusaku on the door, my guess was Vermouth because that would be one of the last and weirdest places for Kid to be in.. But they fooled me thinking it was Kid because I didn't expect that big twist at the end.

Glad to know my first guess was right. I really hope we get a continuation of that.

Vermouth got me with that revelation, I was clearly naive to think Kid would just appear like that at the right moment but poor Conan getting all worried.

Well, that means it's been a while since Kid made an appearance.

Hi there! About this episode,in the post credits scene, when Conan saw Akai and everyone else safely in his house, there is cool OST playing on the background until the end of the episode, Does anyone know when it is called and where I can find it?

this kind of disguise over disguise tactics in DC will always get me surprised and thrilled. i love this episode, although the actual case was a bit wacky with the motive ><

also, this just means that Conan's battle of cat and mouse with BO is on a more personal level already, with his parents directly involved with it too. i think only the kids and the police officers are the only ones not directly involved, and iirc, Heiji too.

This case is really "funny" if you think about it.

The journalist published an idea for a trick, which is then published online... And the best idea of the journalist is to use the trick who has just been posted online (three time)... so anyone who has read the novel could call the police to explain the trick.

But, the "funniest" part, is... there was no reason to use the "trick". A murder is a murder. Having a trick to make the door "closed itself" is useless... It only works if you're trying to make the police think it was a suicide. Which is was not the case for three cases.

Also, for the two dudes who ended up dying, well... Who is more likely to have used the "trick" ? One random dude or her co-worker ? Really, they needed 10 days to be "suspicious"? But the funniest thing is... she killed one of the guys, then kill the other guy, one day later. I mean, how come the last dude didn't get suspicious?

There is not a single coherent thing about this case. I mean, using a stun gun don't make other people go unconscious in the first place, so, it's impossible to use a stun gun then trying to strangle someone, but sure enough, they needed to have the culprit getting a scratch mark.

Regarding the scratch mark, who would use a watch to hide it, especially a watch which is the same model as the guy you just killed.
Also, you can just wear a light t-shirt with long sleeve (amazing !) to hide the scratch for a few days.

Also, I really like the idea of just pushing someone and then they hit the "sink" and "die" instantly. I mean, sure...

So, basically, the journalist could have just let the crime scene, go back, create an alibi or something, wait for someone else to find the corpse, and no one would have ever being able to figure out she was the culprit. But, she had to use a "trick", to hide a crime, with a method exposed before online and to two other people.
Doesn't make sense.
Speaking of something not making sense... Having Shinichi's parent being able to find out the food tasted a little weird (but they didn't eat it ?), they managed to put at least two whole plate from a restaurant in a bag, while they "pretended to eat it". Let's just pretend it make senses, I mean, if the restaurant staff was specially targeting them, don't you think they will watch what their target is doing ? You can't "pretend" to eat a whole plate of spaghetti and manage to hide it in your bag...
And in any case, what was the point of "poisoning" them ?
None.
And I'm not even going to speak about this make no sense that a criminal organization would be bothered by a novelist which has come back in Japan.
Honestly, I didn't watch one episode of conan in a year because of filler and stuff, but I can tell you, first seasons was 1000% better. At least, they kinda make sense, motive and method of covering the murder.

To determine if Yusaku is smart enough to detect the "poison" and therefore if he could pose a threat.

Yeah. At least I knew who the culprit was. It was very obvious. Also she is stupid for two things... Doing this show about her own crimes but moreover, (maybe) she wouldn't have been exposed if she didn't pull the same trick on all of them. Not just because she told them but also it would have been harder to discover there was a connection if it wouldn't have been for the locked doors (totally unnecessary).

They got me with "Kid" tho. I did not see this one coming. Although I got a little suspicious when Conan told Kid he'd slack for not connecting the dots. But it was Vermouth all along. So no wonder she knew who he was! But it was a little risky of his parents to use him as "bait". Of course Vermouth is fond of him but still... Their explanation got me confused too or it was something about the translation.

Clever from Vermouth disguising herself as Kid who disguises as Yuusaku.

But this also means that Vermouth called Conan a tsundere last episode and somehow I can't unhear that :D.

Dang, that plot with Vermouth is crazy!!!!!! The people I suspect to replace/ disguise Yusaku are Kaito kid, Subaru/Akai, Rei, and vermouth. I mostly guess kaito because they haven't shown Vermouth in a long time but that was a crazy plot twist.😯😯😯

Rarely seen characters with big personnalities, an interesting crime-solving set-up that's never been used before, and some costume switcheroos; what a fun two-parter!

That plot twist caught me of guard but I guess that's kudo yusaku plan for ya, him teaming up with FBI would actually be a threat for the organisation but they successfully fooled them. But the way vermouth able to double disguise kid with yusaku appearance and managed to fool up conan is a plot point that I want to see more in the future
