| ABEMA weekly early release. MADKID's OP here, it's just as average as Shield Hero Season 2's OP. Marika Kouno's ED is decent. Remember Shin no Nakama? Yep, this is the same "Banished from the Hero's Party" plot device. This is Rein Shroud's story of becoming a Beast Tamer in his Heroes Party, only to be kicked out for one simple reason: he's useless to them. All right then, Rein is off to do on his own solo adventurer mission...and it has to involve goblins (like every other fantasy story) and being saved by a damsel in distress from a strong monster such as the Killer Tiger landing a one-hit KO. There're many species in the fantasy world, but the Cat Spirit is especially the rarest. And this cat girl Kanade is hungry after her expenditure in power and gets along well with Rein immediately. Kanade is angry that they kicked him out being a useless burden, but since Rein is OK that she will support him, this is supported by trying to tame Kanade for a start, to get to know her better. And by forming a contract with the ultimate species, the bond is created. Though Rein trying the temporary beast taming contracts on other species, Kanade's surprised that he can do this with many species, and this isn't normal at all. The start of Rein's new life as a Beast Tamer, his life is going to get enriched from here on out. Definitely not a harem created here |

| I liked it. They basically fleshed out in the first episode "Okay this is going to be a story of Rein being an adventurer and collecting the rare species" (cat, Dragon, etc etc) and im okay with that. Screw the hero part all of them are ass. Op and Ed were okay |

| Decent first episode for sure. Rein is a nice main character. And Kanade is such a cute neko girl. <3 And aww, that ED. :3 |

| Anothe Isekai with bloody special protagonist and he already enslave anime babes in premiere episodes what a surprise. There's not a whole lot of creativity in the characters designs and personality. It's very predictable. |

| Pretty decent so far! Enjoyed the chill and kind main character! Glad he is out of the toxic environment that is the hero's crew. Also happy the series don't lewd the girls! |
| That heroes party is so screwed, without ample supplies, logistics, tracking and transportation and with people really not liking them due to their shitty attitude they are not going to get far Very Banished from the heroes party meets various tamer shows we have had recently, which Beast Tamers are always looked down on Kanade is quite cute, we saw a little of Reins backstory Sooo the Kitsune will be found locked up/captured from what it looks like in the episode |

1. He seemed pretty surprised to hear he had a lot of talent so I imagine he just assumed he wouldn’t be able to tame it. That or he wouldn’t have been able to because it was already in attack mode and that state isn’t good for even temporary contracts. 2. Perhaps there is some sort of benefit to the taming contract like non-verbal communication or understanding, or maybe there’s security in it such as some sort of magical shield from other tamers or other controlling magic. No idea, but if there’s no reason like that you’re right about it being pointless. Hopefully at the bare minimum it’s more of a partnership type of deal rather than subservience, which is what it felt like since both their symbols are on their hands which they then shook. So I don’t think we’ll be dealing with more slave nonsense at least. |

| Why isn’t MAL letting me update that I’ve watched the first episode? As for the ep itself obviously has shades of Shin no nakama, but still feels different enough to be enjoyable. Doesn’t seem to be as serious. Also reminds me of grace of the gods. Looking forward to seeing how this goes |

| Enjoyable first episode for sure! It seemed like Kanade already wanted to join Rein on his adventure so not sure why they needed to make a pact together but mabye we'll get the answer later on. |

| Hero party a bunch of idiots, but there was the problem too that rein didn't do anything more. I think it's because he thought he couldn't do more, I'm pretty sure he can tame monsters like that killer tiger but he just didn't try. Iñm watching because I want to see karma justice to the hero. |

| Insert Dewey's "I expected nothing and I'm still let down" meme. Even though the other shows based on the popular trend of "leaving the hero's party" were quite poor to average fantasy shows (Yuusha Yamemasu & Banished from the hero's party) they had an interesting hook and in Yuusha Yamemasu it had a great plot twist. I certainly don't see this show going further than just being a waifu show in a fantasy setting. The whole aspect of the Beast tamer getting kicked out from the party is incredibly poor. His beasts allow the party to haul large amount of equipment or loot thru long distances and his smaller beasts serve as scouts to avoid dangerous terrain or higher level mobs. His role is not to be a front liner, but a support class. What are they going to do now that their guide hero isn't in their party? Also the whole scheme of every single character in the Hero's party being a dick is such an overused trope in fantasy series, like for real? not a single soul in that party appreciated MC just a little bit? I'll give it the 3 episode rule, but I'm mostly certain I probably will drop it by then. |

I sometimes just losing my mind because of oversaturation of this type of show but yes you are correct. |

| Pretty good first episode and I like where this is going. Rein is probably beyond S Rank and is going to have the strongest party ever with Ultimate Species by the looks of it. |

| Kanade is cute and I had fun, but this anime is extremely illogical. Like why didn't he try taming the tiger, or why did Kanade even need to be saved if she could easily oneshot that beast in the next moment? If he could tame Kanade, why can't he tame the goblins and other monsters and make them kill each other? What even is the point of taming if she could've just joined to his party? How could the hero's party be dumb enough to deem scouting unimportant if they're going against the demon king? Seems like this anime is going to revolve around collecting girls of rare and powerful species, which is fine, but they should've thought a bit more about the backstory, cause this is just lazy. It's entertaining nonetheless, but still makes me a bit annoyed. |
