| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty tense episode, an all out attack from both sides. Loved the majority of the action against the Walkers. I feel like they have something really worth fighting for now despite the difficulty of the war. Proud of Kazuki for his fighting spirit. Also thought the OST/songs used in the fighting to be done quite well (I think Angela performs it).  |

Dang cliffhanging episode tho, awaiting explanation on next ep. *so Kazuki's new power is some kind of reverse-assimilation or anti-assimilation? | FUUUUCK, I really wanted akira to live, i really hated him when they first introduced him in heaven and earth, he was a brat but he really grew on me throughout exodus and especially in the past few episodes. He really deserved to come out of this one alive. Kazuki becomming assimilated is something im not entirely enthusiastic about from a writing standpoint, i dont know i feel like it does kind of weaken his sacrifices hes made to his body over the course of the series with the confliction of him wanting to live. I dont think it will detract from the show neccessarrily but i kind of was hoping this would of ended with kazkui down and out from the finale and the rest of the cast being the MVP's holding down the fort. Also its really sad that shouko's lines got cut, it was confirmed through twitter that everything kanon was saying was meant to be said by shouko instead. |

Ahh Shouko, I got hooked in Fafner just because of your sacrifice in the first series, I can't forget it and you keeps appearing in this season. Akira...your rage moments will be missed, also you can't and never will take Toomi from Kazuki. Where is soushi in this episode? [2] I didn't see even his Fafner. |

| Why did Akira have to die? I liked his character. :( This episode kind of made it obvious Kazuki and Maya will be together. I mean, wasn't that purple flower the one she gave him for his birthday? It should be a symbol for something, right? Also, Akira never stood a chance as Maya only had eyes for Kazuki and no one else. |

Kazuki was unfazed when the Mir talked to him in the form of Shouko and Kanon... He became something similar to his mother? Sein reverse-assimilated all the diablo type... Mimika is back!!! But Akira ;____; ;___; And the bus scene... |
