| ^ Here's the link to see the raw scans from ch 140: (first you must register to see the scans): http://mangalator.ch/show.php?gallery=4289&image=136203 I'm so happy to see Arata finally has recruited his own team from his school and I'm so impressed he recruited seven people in the first year having a karuta club in his school and I wish the best of luck for his team upcoming tournaments (he looks so handsome with his hakuma, as always he has such an adorble blushing face, LOL). It's so sweet that he was thinking about Chihaya and Taichi ( especially Chihaya, he remmeber what she said to him after her team won the team tournament), but having a sad look on his face and now he wants to surprise her by him forming a team so they can finally play a team match together but sadly when good things starts to happen to him, sad sequences is happening to Chihaya, so much that she can't keep up with karuta that she leaves the club. It's very sad seeing her friends not confronting her when she's feeling in pain: yeah Kana was crying but why could she just talk to Chihaya so she can explain what just happen and help her to make her feel better instead of letting Chihaya bottled her suffering alone. -_- Seriously I really wish Arata is there ( except for he doesn't know what's happening with Chihaya yet), I'm positive that he will confront her WITH COMPASSION and encourage her so she can overcome her pain and be happy again ( they always bring the best for each other that always give them strength). Now I'm really looking forward to see this chapter with English translation!!! :) |

Taichis poem pretty much says everything about his departure Also, wtf with all these "saving" words All main characters in Chihayafuru has fatal mistakes Taichi hold his feelings in himself, Arata looked down on other people *cough* Taichi *cough* and both of them suffered because of their mistakes, they got their lessons but Chihaya didn't Chihaya will learn how to being less selfish (she is pretty much a failure in chapter 138). This is not a hard time she needs to make it through, she must see her mistakes and solve this drama or whatever it is, because all is her fault tbh I still miss everybody's fav couple and their friendship tho bby tai come back ;w; chii cares about you much she is just immature ;w; Anyway we want out TaichixMeijin |

| Arata is doing so well recruiting members for his karuta club while chihaya's club is falling apart T^T. That first year girl is so annoying and chihaya is getting away from karuta. I hope Taichi comes back soon. |

| Interesting. I wonder how Ayase's departure will be from the club though and if she will come back. Things are not looking too bright there but I think the club still has the spirit to win this if they try. |

| So Arata is trying to form a Karuta club, and at the meantime Chihaya is asking for a leave of absence from her club. It would suck if those two don't play against each other. |

| This chapter really emphasized how much of a leader Taichi had grown to be. When he talked, people shut up and listened. Without him, the club was basically in chaos. Really loved seeing some much needed character development with Arata, even if it was only one chapter. I still say that Taichi is obviously the best character in this manga and with the story of Chihayafuru focusing on him the most, I don't think that will change before it ends. But it's nice to see other characters other than Taichi actually grow as people for once. It's going to be really fun to see the Club compete without it's 2 stars. Man, Chihaya really is stricken with grief. I'm not sure if it's just sadness from losing a close friend or something more? Eventually she will come to terms that Taichi needs his space after confessing his life-long secret and being rejected, I have a feeling she will have a moment with Arata that will make her notice how much of an effect she has had on both boys. If I were both of them, I'd stay away from that though lol. She's really attractive and a great personality, but she would make a terrible SO. No self-awareness, pretty selfish sometimes, and 1-dimensional. |
