Usopp being crap this episode, but at least they did it all in one episode this time. All this for the sake of a gag. This arc drags way too much stuff out.

I'm about 99% certain that next week they'll stretch the flashback out to fill the whole episode. I know that it's a short one, but still - can't be assed with flashbacks. I know that's blasphemy around here, but they bore the crap out of me. There's a much longer one coming up later in the arc it seems, too. How many does this arc need?

Remember his Sogeking alter ego during the EL arc made him brave.But now that he can't remember Robin,he can't remember his bravery either.

Dressrosa in anime is slow, the animation was below the average, there were 15-20 great/epic episodes out of 45 episodes, but this episode definitely goes with the epic ones.

Yeah, this episode covered only 2/3 of one chapter, but it was really good and intense, better portraying the trigger that will probably change Usopp's character for the rest of the series. People want to see Sabo kicking ass, Luffy rampaging, but after following One Piece for so long, you need to understand that One Piece was always like this. Taking its time, slowly progressing to the ultimate climax, showing us every detail of the story. That is Oda's style. And I am telling you that this thing with Usopp is not a samll detail for the story.

Animation was great, funny moments with Trebol and Sugar jackpot, Usopp finally going badass

Usopp has never been worse than he was portrayed in this episode. He raised the little people's hopes with a lie and then abandoned them when they needed him most. Fine whatever, he's a liar and doesn't really owe them anything but then he even leaves Robin behind. What really bothers me is that he more or less just left them all to die but of course since this is One Piece, no one actually dies and he's treated like a hero just for coming back after they got the shit kicked out of them. Even though it was obvious he'd return in the nick of time, the fact that he's displayed more courage in his introductory arc made this really irritating to watch.



Nope. I agree, most of the new characters, including the villains don't interest me at all.
