| God I hate Sai. He's pure emo and fail and asshole in every way. This series is still sitting at a 7 mostly because of my hate for him and Sasuke. ......and Tenten. But that goes without saying. They picked a pretty bland voice for Yamato, but I suppose it suits him alright. On with the story! p.s. DB is trying too hard, changing 'weak' into 'pussy'. |

| Pretty good episode, but its mostly about the introduction of Sai and Yamato. So yeah they'd have to do that first in this arc. But yeah guess allot of kyuubi and hot water springs. Hope it doesn't take to much time to get to the real action parts. |

| Bad filler- usually the fillers develop the characters a bit or are funny. I didn't think this episode did much at all to move the story along. |

| Good episode but they could have put alot more into it. Sai just stands there and smiles that was great...(and his comment to naruto was long awaited for!) Ino was just there to say hi. shes such an air head! |

| people this episode was not a filler, a filler is when an episode branches out from the main story line, but naruto hasn't yet it is still on the same story line as the manga oh and sai = emo |

| im going to drop my rating of this series, great potential, but they are milking every conversation, and every situation. this episode sucked, no progression, took 20 mins to assign him 2 new members, which we all knew would happen before the episode started. |

We aren't dealing with the manga here. This IS the anime topic after all. And since the last few years of Naruto anime have been weak at best. All the complaining is more then justified. |

| Eh, the episode was alright~ Sai seems like a cool character, however I feel that they didn't need to take the entire episode to introduce Yamato and Sai... I wish they didn't have to drag out each episode - the manga is well ahead anyways... O_e |

| I like Sai :) which is interesting cause he's not likeable and I usually don't like non-likeable characters (i.e. that wouldn't be likeable irl) that much. He's interesting though. Liked the episode too, wasn't bothered by the pacing. |

| I don't see why people are calling this filler. We got a lot of background information on Tsunade's job as Hokage and the conflict she faces with Naruto harboring the nine tailed fox. We also have two new characters that are going to be major players in this arc. I would say it was pretty productive. |

| HAHA. The first two comments in this thread: "God, I love Sai." and "God, I hate Sai." BAHAHAHA. I really liked Sai in the manga so we'll see if I like him in the anime. So far, I don't have any complaints. Another one of my favorite characters has joined the anime realm: Yamato. SCARY FACE SENSEI. He's got no chill and already can tell that he won't have an easy time with his new team. HAHAHA. |
| Thinking back to the first episode when they showed us Sasuke meeting Naruto again I didn't think it would take this long to actually meet him, but at least their almost on their way. |

| good episode, shizuke became really less likeable in this ep, she really shouldn't have done that. sai really creep me out, let's see where his character going. i hope those 1chp per episode going to change, this arc is 3vol in the manga, there's no reason to drag too much, seriously... |
| Aye Sai and Yamato join the team! Danzo seems to have a bad history that'll be revealed later on. Also I hope they don't drag out this arc. |
