| This chapter was released really quickly, wasn't it? Anyway, it seems that both are still alive by the ending of the fight... maybe we will have one or two more chapters to conclude this arc. |
| Great chapter. That one page was incredibly intense and with the dialogue it was typical Mizukami Satoshi's style. Also good to see that small extra scene from Vann's arc |
| so many flashbacks and connections with the previous lives this time a flashback from a previous life about the other evil brother, it got confirmed it was the same person after all an other little hint of the phinx life even the forest spirits are back :D poor samurai, guess we won't see him again in this life limbs flying everywhere o.o they didn't have any time to talk this time, maybe they will have if they both survive for a bit after being recovered |

| When they go to Rihama's secret passage, Rihama, Ohbayashi and the nurse Matsu (Fuuta's mother, I think) Houtarou doesn't remember her but Matsu cared for him as a child. Safe out of the war, with the village burning, then for a moment, Houtarou sees the end of Vann's brother, when he burned his house and when someone said he wished Vann would have succeeded the place, like a madman, Vann goes into the fire thinking he'll kill Van, to which Houtarou wakes up. Jinkurou also had a dream, of his past life as Kertenos, seeing (Umi) as a little sister and leaving her when Roca told him Flors would marry her, believing she'd be happy with him, to which Houtarou felt guilt. As they're attacked by Iwana and her men, Ohbayashi and Houtarou stay to fight for Rihama to escape with Jinkurou. Attacking Iwana, he falls into the river with her, leaving Ohbayashi fending off the rest on his own. Fighting for a long time, as if it was a long awaited battle to come with limbs lost, they finally collapsed. |

| Ah shoot Matsu just had to be his mother. Perhaps she was in this life as well. Oookay so that's what happened to Vann's brother. Guy got pretty nutty. Another fateful encounter between these two. That sword fight was brutal. |
