| Houtarou Kajima is tied and kidnapped by bandits to get money or something else by taking him hostage. Suddenly, a ninja called Jinkurou (Masiro) kills them off in an instant and saves Houtarou who was hired to protect him. Bringing the ninja to his house, the Princess Rihama (Umi), his little sister comes running to hug him worried. Ah, Houtarou is their favored smith, and actually born from a mistress. Rihama's brother, Kajirou tries to make the ninja go away with money for some reason... In this life, his brother hates him (like Vann's did) for fear of becoming heir, even though Houtarou doesn't care to become royalty and is content as a smith, while Rihama hates her brother Kajirou for hating Houtarou. His parents died, and his mother was always distant because of his scar, while his Grandpa was close with him. Jinkurou and Houtarou enjoyed their time together, drinking sake and talking about themselves. At night, Jinkurou is ready to battle two ninjas coming to kill Houtarou to which Houtarou wakes up and is handed a dagger. In instinct when they were cornered, back to back, they spun around together against their other foes and made them flee. |

| Holy cheeseballs Jinkurou is amazing. Guess the princess will want to marry him in this life, too. Hopefully it goes well this time. Nice switch up. Perhaps the past lives have their perks. |
