If Reiko is a guy then why does he/she sound and look like a girl ... I hope they were having a laugh lol.

The start was sweet and the end was awesome! The originals are back! I can't wait to watch the last one! <3

Idk why Madoka scares me. Same with Reiko in an odd way. How odd.

Poor Toru finding out the girl he likes is...a he.

The sequence with them eating together and taking pictures of each other was very poignant, but also raised a bunch of death flags. I somehow feel that they might not make it all.

Why is everyone acting like it's so obvious that Reiko was a boy the entire time? It makes absolute sense for Toru to not have been able to tell at all.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the related note that I thought Toru was a girl for the first few episodes of the anime.

Kinda random to drop that Reiko is actually a dude near the end of the show, but alright I guess lol, kinda wild that old man was a femboy in his youth, also the fact everyone knew besides Toru made it funnier.

And man, the scene at the dinner table and the short bit of them taking pictures together for the first time, it raises death flags for sure but it was a sweet scene, looking at old photos of their originals and taking new ones of themselves, following these characters for this long really enhanced it too, they went from a dysfunctional pretend family to almost tighter than a real one here at the end, it feels good, also the calm before the storm lol, and indeed it was.

I guess the Blattaria weren’t out for the count after all, they weren’t putting up much of a fight with all of the Gilgamesh together as one unit but Kazmatsuri pulled out the big guns with that machine that emits the waves that Tatsuya puts off, a good plan and it felt good to see the pompous Gilgamesh knocked down a peg, but unfortunately this didn’t last long when not only Dr. Madoka himself finally showed, but also the originals of Fu, Fujisaki and Toru who were thought to be dead, a nice twist but I’m not sure what it means yet, and there’s just one episode left to figure it out, I’m honestly not sure how this is all gonna end but I’m very excited to see it, fingers crossed we aren’t about to see everyone die lol.

I was sort of annoyed by how unremarkable the reveal that Reiko is Yuki’s clone was, but the fact that Reiko being a boy was a revelation to nobody else but Toru (and us viewers) was an amusing recontextualization of that moment.

Humans only get one life. Even if your family is imperfect, you should appreciate it for what it is. Learning this lesson is what has made Fu and Fujisaki mature. They find joy in embracing what is in front of them, as Siduri encouraged the mythical Gilgamesh to do.

Kazamatsuri says that the Gilgamesh kids’s objective lies at the hotel. Presumably, they need Kiyococoon and/or Tatsuya to accomplish their plans.

It’s too bad we don’t see the Gilgamesh kids use their powers to a fuller extent again, like we did when this second set of them was first introduced a few episodes ago. The lack of good action scenes is one aspect of what puts this series down a peg or two below the true classics of the genre, like Evangelion and Texhnolyze. Of course, it’s also lacking in other factors compared to series with less action that I’d still rank above this one, like Ghost Hound and Lain.

The four originals of the devil children, who we haven’t seen yet outside of flashbacks, arrive on the scene. Let the flood begin.
