DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ok i don't get it, why in the hell was shaft so confident in his final fighter appearing "My whitey" out of all of the American combatants, he was by far the weakest and the worst poser of them all. That fight wasn't even a fight for god sakes. Still it was nice seeing kenzaki kick that bastard high up into the ceiling and the American flag. I deffinitly rooted for him, that was a nice finish. Now the final match, as expected Ryuuji fights Shaft, i didn't see that one coming. lol |

| Nice opponent choice for the superstar. Was Whiteyt supposed to be some Hollywood guy? The uppercut gave birth to a nuclear fission!? Literally? XD (interesting to note that space, planet and physics were already used to impress before St Seiya). Yeah, a KO up in the air through the spotlights! I remember how it surprised me the first time an opponent send me fly like this (in the videogame). XD Now, I only need to watch someone sent from the ring to the outside right through a window of the stadium. Also, Kiku's jealous reaction would have been even better, had we seen their mutual respect gradually evolve into a closer relationship. The buildup of the Kage clan and the mysterious leader sharing Kenzaki's face is really good, I can't wait to be there: I only know him vaguely because he was a hidden character with Kurumada in the game. Looks like even Kenzaki knows about them, so who are they?? 5/5 Now, everyone seems to own a special technique. link9us said: why in the hell was shaft so confident in his final fighter appearing ? | Huh. I honestly don't know what to think about this fight (if it can even be called a fight, lol). On one hand, it was underwhelming. That mysterious fifth participant got wrecked in a blink of an eye. On the other hand, it was quite hilarious to see all this build-up and hype being revealed as nothing more but a part of jobber's performance. ;D I think I know what was Black Shaft's plan. Knowing that dirty tricks may not work on one of two best boxers from the Japanese team, he gambled by picking up a poser to just make sure that at least one of them will be eliminated from the contest. Kenzaki was the best candidate to participate in that "superstar vs. superstar" duel, so Black Shaft would have to face seemingly weaker (I guess he considers Ryuuji as such) boxer out of two the best ones. |
